I have not read either of those, but, yes, Image is indeed killing it right now. I'm also reading MPH, Low, Starlight (just concluded), and was a huge fan of Chew doe about 30 issues. Great art and amazing original stories.

As for Seceet Wars, it's onviously Marvel's way of wrapping up Hickman's collapsing universes storyline that will also serve to kill off the Ultimate Universe (- Spider-Man), the F.F., Mutants, and possibly Peter Parker.

It could be good, depending the artists ( cool that Alex Ross will be doing the covers) and how clear the storyline is. Hickman has been putting together some of the most vague, convoluted stories of all time with the Avengers the last couple of years. This could just be a hot mess with cool fights and art - like Ultimatum*shudders*

I'm honestly surprised Marvel has let their main flagship title be so different than anything we've ever seen from Marvel

They took a big chance with Avengers and Hickman

finally getting around to selling my collection on ebay. Batman #1 and #4 already sold.

Just now checked this thread out. Last year or so I've really gotten back into comics, and hadn't been since I was a teenager. As a kid I of course read X-men, Spider-man and TMNT. Then as a teen I read Image stuff and Spawn (and it's spin off series like Curse of the Spawn, HellSpawn, Spawn the Dark Ages etc).

Series I'm into now:
TMNT - the one published by IDW and not based on the new Nickelodeon series. I believe the story is actually by Kevin Eastman with Tom Waltz.

Spawn - I read Spawn from issue 1 up to 150ish. I read up through the start of the story arc with God and Satan fighting for Spawn and up through him washing the planet and reviving everyone.
I missed the introduction of this new guy Jim, but this month's issue boasted that Al Simmon's returns in two issues.

Sex Criminals - My girlfreind actually started reading this and lost interest so but I ended up picking it up.

Robocop - BOOM just started publishing a new Robocop series. It's four issues in but I'm not really digging it. :(

Read sex criminals. It was cool. Just finished the avengers:kree skrull war and war of kings, read infinity not long ago. The only comic I keep up to date with is the amazing spiderman.good shit.Sooo, many books to buy

Rama what's up bro.

Hey I am all caught on AXIS and the entire series has this over the top 90s feel to it. Like all the lame stuff from the 90s is being used in big big ways. I think remender even mentioned this was gonna be a homage to the 90s

I like the concepts but I feel like it's missing something.

From what I heard the ties in like Hobgoblin is reay damn good.

Has anyone done any binding with their comics? That shit seems so sweet and addictive. I'm contemplating buying all of Ennis's Punisher MAX floppies off ebay or somewhere and binding them since some of the hardcover volumes for that run are depressingly expensive.

Last week I read Moon Knight.

The last 2 parts in particular are outstanding.

This week I read the Gotham City Sirens Book One. Paul Dini, great man.

Book Two comes out when Avengers 2 does.

Next up I have a hand full of Dragonlord's Recommendations: Astonishing X-Men Book 1 & 2, Hawkeye Oversized & The Ultimates: Ultimate Collection Book 1 (Amazon is out of Book 2).

I can't ever remember a time when I read a Paul Dini story and didn't close the book knowing I just read something that was damn good.

When he wrote Detective comics years ago while Morrison was writing Batman, I felt Dinis work was highly underrated and overshadowed.

He didn't write some grander than all plot, or some weird psychedelic type of mind Fuck, Paul just wrote really solid stories and they were always damn good.

Yo Kong, looks like they switched artists on Axis to that can Terry Dodson, this is where I get off. Keep me updated.

WTF? When did Hawkeye become a totally awesome book? Spent the day catching up - good read. Pizza dog issue was great.

Sex criminals is overrated. How ign had it rated no1 over saga i do not know.

Batman 36 was a can issue. Makes me less supportive of Snyder. Same shit as Death Of the family with Joker outsmarting everyone.
