Anyone check out the Multiversity Society of Super-Heroes? It's pulpy and cool as hell. May have to check out other Multiversity titles if they're in the same genre,

In other words, Batman is unbeatable with prep time.

Although it wasn't Batman himself who killed the JLA, these were his plans on how he would stop each member, Batman's plans were stolen and put into play by Ra's al Ghul.

Some of you may have read this comic already, but I thought it was pretty worthy of a thread for those who are into this sort of thing.

If anything is missing, please add to it.

Yes, and it was great. But each issue is/going to be entirely different from one another, which was the point from the very beginning.

Read Batman Endgame. It's in comic book stores now. It's about the justice League under Joker's control, and batman has to stop them, with his justice league buster suit.

Batman with prep time is the biggest joke in all of comics.


As if Batman in any circumstance can ever defeat a Superman looking to kill Bruce. Even if Bruce has kryptonite all Superman has to do is is move at light speed and run physically through Bruces body.

I'm watching the new Constantine show right now. Nothing much standing out about it.

This guy playing John Constantine is doing a pretty good job though.

Scott Snyders Batman is a very good comic but is is also highly over rated.


Morrisons run pisses on Snyders.

I think the issue is that Supes is too morally upstanding. It also suggests that he doesn't have the internet and doesn't google stuff like "Could Batman really beat Superman?" to see what all the scenarios might be.

what are your thoughts?
just bought GL #1..might get the collected editions to catch up.

I read Aquaman up to about issue 13, it was really good

MM's weakness to fire is psychological. It doesn't hurt him physically, he just has a phobia.

Rama I don't think that is true...


When Morrison wrote JLA, Batman defeated some of the aliens that MM hails from with fire... I don't think they all had a phobia towards fire.

Hey ThinkNot, IMO Green Lantern has been hands down the most consistent(best) mainstream comics for about 10 years.

Even during the DC relaunch Green Lantern has been so consistently awesome. The path they took with giving Sinestro back his GL ring was a great story.


If I were you id go back and pick up GL Rebirth and read everything Geoff Johns has written on the character. Just like he did with Wally West & JSA, Johns cemented the legacy that is both Green Lantern and the Flash.....





Also, picked this up today at my comic shop, "Tooth and Claw" #1, penned by Busiek and has a sweet look to it.. Let me know if anyone has bought and read it yet.

what's the sequence?
rebirth>> blackest night>>brighest day>>green lantern wars which than leads to the new 52?
my plan is to buy all of them at some point lol

thanks for the opinion on aquaman kong, it has good reviews everywhere...that's also on my list.
