Just finished reading Axis Carnage #1 and #2. I'm enjoying it quite a bit and the complete lack of finesse that Carnage displays while trying to be a hero is great. He's completely irredeemable but his constant attempts to make up for the things he's done makes it an entertaining read. I recommend anyone a fan of the character to pick it up. It's a nice change of pace from the usual stuff out there right now.

I mostly don't read the books I purchase now I just re-sell them. I am reading Manhattan Projects. Great first couple issues. I was lucky and bought 10 copies of the first four issues. Sold most of them already.

I want to know more about CGC as well.

I think I have Vengeance Of Bane that might be 9.8. I've seen some 9.6 at shows and I'm not sure about grading. The ones I saw had little bents and I thought it'd be graded less.
 
I have the first appearance of Deadpool back in New Mutants #96 and for some strange reason I've seen it being sold for about $300.

I was wondering if I should get it graded as well.

Not sure why but Deadpool merchandise has gone up in price. I was told this at my local shop. The guys there know their business throughly. So if anyone has deadpool stuff it's been selling at good value.

The series did continue. They're all out in trade format and there are new titles in the shelf as we speak.

Decided to embark on Marvel mutant odyssey and read a number of suggestions from this rec list.

I'm 70 issues or so into Claremont's Uncanny X-Men and I'm about to start reading his run on New Mutants. I also read Milligan's run on X-Force/X-Statix and it was ehhhhhhh. Really liked the art though, but wasn't a big fan of the premise. All the characters were unlikable and never really had any arcs and the constant bitching and infighting got old pretty quickly.

New Mutants 98 is his first appearance and it goes for $1,500 if it is graded 9.8 and is signed.

No I got it off the CGC website and mailed it in myself. I am going to get another subscription after Christmas (gotta spoil my Wife and kids first). I have Starlords first appearance (Marvel Preview 4) and 7 copies of Strange Tales 180 (first Gamora) that I want to get graded.
I bought all the GotG first appearances about 2 years ago when news of the movie first broke. Too bad I sold most of them prematurely. Sold 3 copies of Marvel Preview 7 (first Rocket Rac****) for only $70 a piece! I also sold a Marvel Preview 4 for $60 that was near mint! Sold my Batman Adventures 12(first Harley Quinn) for only $40 and it was definitely a 9.6 or 9.8 I sold it about 2 or 3 months before it jumped to over $1000.
The best I did flipping was Peter Panzerfaust. I bought 40 copies of issue 1 (every copy on eBay at the time) for under $30 a piece. Sold most of them a 6 months later for $200 a piece. It,s too hard to make money flipping comics like that now because too many people are realizing the money to be made and the prices are skyrocketing overnight.
Too late for the Inhumans. Everyone and there Mothers are eating up all the first appearances.
 
My bro found a Rocket Rac**** appearance in a really old comic for .25. I think it was going for $50 before the movie came out. It wasn't in mint condition but I think he can sell it for at $40.

The creator bill willingham confirmed it.

That's unexpected. Thought it would have 300 plus issues like TWD.

What a well built story that was, I jumped out bed twice during the 2nd half of Book 2 to deliver one of these.

An excellent history lesson as well as character arc for Mr Sheldon. Was fun going through comics and episodes of animated series to compare his view of the incidents to the heroes.
 
Avengers and X-Men: Axis has improved after the first atrocious 3 issues. The whole alignment switcheroo is fun.
