joe rogan's stand-up from years ago was hilarious. but now that he has gotten older, and apparently, "wiser", he has lost his humor. his recent material is horrible. his brock lesnar bit is cringe-worthy.

Its actually comedic that Dane Cook is leaps and bounds funnier than anyone else on that list. So many comedians are shitty but its all a matter of taste I guess. And the Gabriel dude is apparently blowing up like crazy.

Zach Gallifinakis is one of the better American stand-ups imo ts.

All the 'Roast' stuff is shit. There's nothing funny about taking the piss if you're given free reign and allowed to do it.

First part, agreed. Zach is a fucking artist. Also, Rogan is is great, but he misses sometimes. Some of his sets do suck, but some are truly great.

Second part. WTF? I am beside myself watching some of those roasts, they are so good.

You have to understand something, though. Some of these stand up comics are not court fucking jesters telling one liners and pun garbage. They are exposing truths. They are people who have something to say.

Maybe not for everybody, but Stanhope and Rogan have said some really important shit, that while may not make you laugh as much as some stupid ass punchline joke, is still high quality.

I love Stanhope. Joe is great at ripping the audience but I'm not really a fan of his bits.
