I sat next to him on a plane last year, he and DL Hughey were going to some comedy event. I'm not big on Ralphie's style, but I see where his gift comes from -He's seems extremely insecure in person -meek and unconfident in a paranoid passive way -which is probably good for a comedian because it gives them perspective, and drive, endless source for material. Nice guy.

Live is fucking incredible. It's topped nearly every 'best of 2012' list I've seen.

Saw him live. He was drunk. He sang Karma Chameleons for about 10 minutes. He was still hilarious.

Let's be honest. Comedy. I mean good comedy, generally comes from trauma. Most good comics are addicts and severely depressed. Getting up on stage is a means of therapy.

These statements aren't exclusive. I'm sure you could find some well adjusted comics, but a great percentage are not

The problem with Russell Peters is that if you're not Asian, Indian, Jamaican or Canadian you won't get any of the jokes. But the guy is pretty funny.

There are many other comedians I don't like but can see why other people might. I can find no hint of humour with Justin Lee Collins. Nothing to defend him labelled as a comedian.

I like him in movies and on parks and recreation but I agree. I downloaded his internet special he released a little while ago and it was god awful. Just terrible indeed.
