Not sure when they will be back but have announced an event in March.

On Tuesday, COMBATE GLOBAL announced a new global partnership with YouTube.

COMBATE GLOBAL today announced the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) debut of World Boxing Council (WBC) interim world flyweight (112 pounds) champion, Kenia Enriquez (0-0 MMA; 28-1, 11 KO’s).

The 31-year-old Enriquez of Tijuana, B.C., Mexico will enter La Jaula, the COMBATE GLOBAL competition cage, at the previously announced all-women’s live event, ‘Combate Female’, on Thursday, March 13 in Miami.

Enriquez, a three-time professional boxing champion, will square off with undefeated Hayley “Bloody” Valentine (5-0) of London, England in a strawweight (115 pounds) contest.

The bout between Enriquez and Valentine will stream live, along with the remainder of the ‘Combate Female’ fight card, on both Combate Global’s Spanish language YouTube channel as well as the promotion’s English language YouTube channel, beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT

Their English Youtube channel looks almost exclusively WMMA, which is terrible.
Their return event is the only "all woman" event. Unless they have something earlier I do not know about.

Combate has sneakily been a good feeder promotion to the UFC so I'm glad it's still around.

David Martinez, Rafa Garcia, Melissa Martinez, John Castaneda, D-Rod, Roberto Romero, Daniel Zellhuber and probably some I'm forgetting all fought there from the current roster.

Most of the Combate WMMA fights are so bad, boring as fuck, mostly amateurs with 50/50 or losing records, basically Invicta prelims on the main card.

I enjoy women MMA even if they are bad got something to look at. But a lot of MMA on You Tube right now I am jumping between Iron Fist Fighting Championship and Matrix MFN 16. So I feel even if women it will get lost in the tons of MMA on weekends on You Tube.

Fun fact about these goofballs: They sell spots on fight cards to give fighters fake wins, pretending that they were for example fight #6 on a list when they never actually fought. Also, they fix fights.

Iron Fist? Tapology says their last event was in May 2023 and flagged them with this warning:

This promotion has been flagged by Tapology (Promotion - Not Hard-Fought To International Standards).

Unless further evidence emerges regarding the legitimacy of this organization's events, any new bouts belonging to this promotion will be similarly flagged, as will the Tapology records of the participating fighters. By default, new bouts added to this promotion's events will be considered ineligible towards the participants' win-loss records.

Look at this piece of work. This was from their very first "event." It didn't get better.

Apologies for the thread starter, hijacking this thread to talk about IFFC. Back on topic, I got the Combate Global press release and wrote up a story about Kenia Enriquez crossing over to MMA. I think that March 13 show will be their first one back, and they have a few more scheduled. In the actual text of the release itself, it said that the rest of the lineup would be released "later this week." Still nothing yet. I have no idea how the Florida commission signs off on events where even it doesn't know who is fighting until that week. That wouldn't fly in many other states.

I do have much respect for Matrix they may be owned by Bollywood stars but they own gyms and keep it legitimate Fight-Pass should sign them. And MFN 16 was a decent event.

It would be nice if it was easily available for international viewers, even if it is a vanity project, and Hal of the social media is pics of the owners’ wannabe celebrity kids

I am all for an all women event but do not think it will save them.

COMBATE GLOBAL’s all-women’s event, ‘Combate Female’, will proceed with five Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fights, including the much-anticipated main event between Maritza Sanchez (6-1) and Kate “Queen of the South” Bacik (5-2), tomorrow, Thursday, March 13, live worldwide on YouTube, at a new start time of 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT.

They have two events scheduled for next month, as well

Looking forward to Maritza Sanchez and Sharon Martinez the Nicaraguan girl who only wins by armbar.

It's like they cornered me in a room and told me to build my perfect MMA card.
