Colby's right about the UFC but he's stuck now. He's played the asshole role to the hilt so hardly anyone will support him. Neither fans or fellow fighters.
 
As if Colby ever trains on accuracy and timing lol. As if Colby makes the UFC millions. He is a boring fighter and he still complains. Btw wasn't Colby just recently talking about how much money he makes? I agree ufc are crooked f#cks tho. He's right about paying them as low as possible but it's a 2 way street. Fighters accepting shitty pay just enable the UFC. If fighters made millions most would retire asap.
 
I don't know how anyone could disagree with what Colby is saying. Even if you did though, Usman also turned down multiple contracts because they weren't offering him enough. So it's not like it's one entitled dude here. Neither guy at the top of WW is getting paid much. UFC has a long history of this. Siding with the mega corporation over fighters who literally sacrifice their health every time they perform is the ultimate bitch move.

Capitalism is an economic system in which a country's trade is controlled by private owners, rather than by the state. That's not what Colby's opposed to. He's just negotiating the only way he can right now, by levering the media who absolutely love this salary subject.

While Usman and Colby are whining and throwing away their career by waiting out, guys like Gaethje and Cowboy are making > one million a year and being treated well even when they lose matches. Usman himself said, if he's not training or fighting he doesn't know what he would be doing in his life. He would be a homeless bum if not for MMA and the UFC, either that or rotting in jail. Same can be said about Colby. Usman and Colby needs to accept that if they both get cut from the UFC tomorrow and not much will be lost for the WW division.
 
Every fighter complaining about fighter pay is absolutely right...even if it's your most hated fighter...
 
Colby isn't wrong. He's not a big needle mover, but he does generate some interest with his gimmick and is one of the best fighters in the world. For him to get 45K to show and 45K to win main eventing of all things is insane.

Every Leftist agrees that the UFC is a monopoly and levies contracts on fighters which stifle free-market competition, i.e disallowing competing in rival organizations which offer better pay. What’s annoying is the hypocrisy of Colby who supports Trump, a politician who’s first move was to lower taxes and slash regulations on the ultra-rich.

Rightists are learning (as they always do) the hard way that the only thing more coercive than big governments are big corporations. Worst of all is when private corporations combine with corrupt governments. Behind all the rhetoric of anti-establishment populism is cowardly compromise with American oligarchy due to the fear of the damage they could do to the economy. You have to fight big monopolies eventually - the sooner the better - everything else is secondary.

If you are so close to being a champion, i dont understand why you would start complaining and not take the fights to get the belt.
Aljamain Sterling did the same thing. I believe it was after the Eduardo fight that he started to demand more money. There were already talks of him being close to a title shot. I remember not understanding why he'd be putting up a fuss if he was that close to making money.


If you are confident that you will be a champion, i dont see too much sense in kicking up this much fuss.

Reactionary chud logic aside, Trump is in fact a centrist politician and his commitments to anti-establishment populism don’t go far beyond lip service. He stands side by side with leaders like Macron, Merkel, and Putin in pushing neoliberal policies and destroying social programs only to replace them with universally hated privatization schemes and bloated federal contracts.

I have worked in a men's homeless shelter for many years now. It's a 24/7 shelter with a case worker so we know their stories and such. I'd say 85% of them have an addiction. Even though they can stay there for 90 days str8 we get a lot of repeats weeks or months after they have gone.

Within this year though our city is changing the homeless shelter spectrum. We are getting rid of the mens shelter. We are buying two big buildings and my company that had the mens shelter will now be doing a family shelter only. A different company will now house men and women together. Both will be 24/7. Our womens shelter that is a domestic violence shelter(that can house abused men per the law) will not change. In total it will quadruple the population capacity for the homeless. The city has less than 50k people.


Kind of rattled off there a bit.
