He's going to say that he was in top control putting a beating a Buckley when the corrupt ref and ringside officials stepped in a called a bogus stoppage when he was about to leave Buckley in a pool of his own blood. The excuses will be endless.

Dustin Jacoby is also 36 and got an amazing come from behind KO tonight, maybe Colby should bulk up to 205.

Also, old man Cubby with his highlight reel KO, and Davey Gramps beating Taveras silly, I thought it was it going to be a sweep for the old guys tonight but Colby ruined everything.
 
It's his style of pushing the pace and he is aging out. He can't do it anymore. He is also one of the few guys I think that might have competed naturally for the majority of his career.
 
I'm fully confident that if he was A) given 3 more title shots and B) was allowed to win vs people who are not in the UFC in their next fight for the next 5 years and never ever fights a contender... then he would be perceived better by fans.

Colby looks like he got old overnight but that's what happens when you fight once a year. Guy just got past his physical prime. Still a good fighter but he's had better days. Same with Usman

Lol at "Chaos" . He is everything but.

His inactivity played a large part in his failure. When he could have improved as a fighter he chose to fight once a year since 2020. You can't develop as a fighter that way. He's far too tentative to get into the ring and it is also the way he fights. He has zero killer instinct and stand up sub-par.

No one to blame but himself. The guy doesn't deserve another main card.
