Colby Covington only has one win in the current welterweight division

Covington and Dana are both members of the Donald Trump fan club, so Colby gets the benefit of continuously getting title shots from Dana, even though he never wins them. I cant wait to see Covington get really beatdown.

Remember when people were regurgitating that shitty narrative that he would be some all time great WW if not for Usman?

Clown uneducated moronfuck fans need to believe everything they recently see is far better than whatever existed before it. Their brain cannot comprehend how mediocre Colby is relative to past eras top 10 WWs.

Colby is part and parcel what is wrong with the UFC right me. Name value is above actual talent and competiveness. Sitting around and doing nothing is valued over being active and winning fights. Dude literally hasn't won a meaningful fight since maybe RDA in 2018? Geeze I was just looking at his record and its like Dong Huyn Kim, Maia, Lawler, Woodley, and Masvidal in the last 7 years. Yet he's still ranked 4th?

Conor has how many wins against current LW to go with is 0 wins at WW. What's the point here?

I think the point is that his resume doesn’t justify his ranking in any way, shape or form.

Would be hilarious if he wet blankets Ian to a sloppy UD.

Both of these guys are insufferable though.

I'd still like to see Garry Machado knock him out. I'm sick of Colby at this point. After Machado beats Colby then Shavkat can KO him and we can be don with both.
What you nerds and virgins don't understand is that in today's UFC, social media engagement >>> winning fights
There was a guy in the UFC named Demetrius Johnson. He didn't want to sell his fights. He just wanted to show up and fight. They traded him out of the company. He's one of the all-time great MMA fighters but was a terrible UFC employee. Dana is running the company like a sporting version of Dunkin Donuts. He probably has a picture of the 'employee of the month' in his office.

To be fair, his only losses at welterweight since 2015 were to Usman and the guy who beat Usman. He also beat three former champions in Woodley, Lawler, and RDA.

Pretend name value at that, cuz Colby is more a powerhouse in social media numbers, but that large boost doesn't quite translate to buys as much as the UFC would like

Feels like Shavkat would monster either guy, I'm not sure anyone is really itching for Colby vs Ian

Conor isn't even ranked, not sure what the point of this post is. Colby shouldn't be ranked either, should he? If they had taken him out of the rankings I wouldn't have made this thread.

His only losses since 2015 were to Usman and Leon because he ducked everyone else. The "3 former champions" he beat are two fighters who immediately dropped from the rankings after losing to him and a lightweight who never again was relevant after their fight. ,Let's be honest about that. RDA is his best win. A former lightweight champ who had moved up and never won a meaningful fight at welterweight ever again. Colby has an awful resume if you take into account what the fighters he beat went on to do.
