Media Colby Covington and Lebron James size comparison

Colby would have problems with bigger guys, he lacks power and submission skills. That said, i think Lebron would need at least 2 years of MMA training to beat Colby.

In a real fight he'd likely get his face ripped off. But in the octagon with rules Colby via takedown.

I can’t believe there is a 53 page debate on who would win a fight. A professional fighter or a professional basketball player, and I think Lebron is the goat.

It's not so much about who would win, it's about these kids who have never been in a fight before think that the much smaller, less-athletic fighter would win under a minute.

you mean the guy who trains to fight and proves it at an elite level can kick the shit out of the guy who never trained to fight in his life and has zero practical experience doing it. it's laughable.

You don't understand physics. I doubt you have ever been in a fight before.

Lol where do you train smoothbrain? We have professional athletes constantly train at my gym during offseasons and the lack of coordination they have for fighting is almost laughable.

It has nothing to do with physics, fighting requires its own skillset and mental toughness which can’t be learned by dribbling a ball and flopping to your back everytime someone breathes on you.

Lol go hit a gym sometime, you might learn something

why the fuck is this thread 53 pages

I was just thinking to myself "This is still on the first page?".And now I've posted in the thread again and continued the vicious cycle.

Sherdog got me again <{anton}>

Why are there weight classes at all then, smart guy? If you train, you can beat up anyone - so why does that even matter?

Dumbass lol

Imagine being this dumb lol...

Weight classes are for PROFESSIONAL fighters, brainlet LOL... Not an elite trained martial artist vs a basketball player.

When Skill matches Skill functional weight/strength can obviously be an advantage, what are Lebron’s martial arts credentials? Dribbling a ball?

Lol you’ve never seriously trained a day in your life... please stop embarrassing yourself

<36>

Did Lebron bone your girlfriend?

Why you so mad at Lebron?

It sucks to be a Lebron hating crybaby b*tch don't it? LMAO
I don’t hate on him. He’s good at playing basketball. It’s a game he’s really good at!

That being said, fighting isn’t a game. He’s name shouldn’t be brought into conversations about fighting with professional fighters who dedicate their lives to the craft.

LeBron would get pummelled, it’s just not inside him. He’s a wimp of a man!

You think basketball players could hang with professional fighters in a fight and I think it shows your lack of knowledge

Oh so then it does have to do with physics.. that story changed real quick!

Lol how do you even manage to tie your shoes in the morning? I’m legit concerned...

Let’s try this again:

Skill > physics = The original story of the UFC

Skill vs Skill = Variables like physics come into play.

You’re implying that Lebron would beat an elite MMA fighter simply due to physics which is absurd... Your argument is the equivalent of saying Lebron would be an elite Footballer(Soccer) simply due to him being the biggest guy on the field... you can’t be that dumb buddy.

MMA Fighting Is a sport of its own, Lebron would get thoroughly thrashed by an elite fighter like Colby.

I refuse to believe you’re this dumb, so stop trolling.

Colby would beat Lebron. There were plenty of big guys losing to much smaller guys in Pride and early UFC among other orgs where both did practice martial arts.

Some stats and pics for reference below. Lebron is an uneducated basketball player, not a fighter.
205 lbs, 5'8'' Vovchanchyn KOd 300 lbs, 6'8'' Varelans:

All sorts of crazy shit happens when the referee wears earpiece.

For fucking love of god mods move this shit out of the UFC and into either the wasteland or fantasy match up thread.

Of course you hate Lebron, you cannot resist calling him out of his name. What's the point of that?

You have no proof or facts that Colby can beat Lebron. Lebron wrecks Colby in a fight. Period.

Let me guess, you think since Colby fights MMA that he cannot get his ass kicked by another Athlete?

Lebron has a tremendous size advantage on Colby. Lebron is way stronger than Colby. Lebron is a way better Athlete than Colby on any and every level any day of the week. Colby is just a small overrated WW.

Did I ever say basketball players can hang with MMA fighters? The thread is Lebron vs Colby. And I said Lebron wrecks Colby in a fight. That has nothing to do with saying basketball players can hang with MMA fighters just because I said Lebron wrecks Colby. So don't make it plural.
