- This motherfucker talks such a big game. And then he bitches out and basically quits in a fight. After he breaks his nose. Like, what are you worried about? You're in a title fight here. But world titles online is all you want, that's all you dreamed of. And you're more worried about fixing your fucking nose than fucking winning? I mean, it shows his true character - that's what the cage is all about.

- A 100% he's not that guy that he says to be. When has ever put his ass on the fucking line and bit down the mouthpiece, and really went for it? Through a whole process of a fight, so not just the last 10 seconds. I mean the guy is non-stop, I mean, he's not finishing any big fights. I'll tell you that. Look at him out there just talking and talking and then doing shit that's not even him. You know?

- I'm just tired of fake people. I mean, you see everything that he presents himself as. Which he is not. It's pretty simple. You gotta show up and lay claim to your words. If you don't you'll get a lot of shit and trust me, I know. I've gotten my fair share. We all say things and sometimes it doesn't work out in that best way possible but certain things you say, you at least gotta try to do.

- I've had my history with him a couple of times in the gym. I've seen him in there one time and he was just really annoying. It was in the middle of Covid and I was a little hung over and I had a broken nose at that time, but I was so annoyed with this motherfucker just running his mouth, acting the way he did. So I went to the bathroom and got a fucking piece of paper towel to put in my mouth, and then I stepped in there, put on my gloves just to spar the kid 'cause I was so fucking annoyed. It was a close round, I'm not gonna lie. But I had a broken nose and paper for a gum shield.

Not many people out there that talk more shit, despite having SO MANY embarrassing moments in their career...

Sean has a good chin but I'm not sure he has that type of zombie-level chin as the Diaz brothers do. I have a feeling that he'd just get sparked out if he tried to trade blows with Dricus, because of the difference in firepower.

I think that's mostly due to the weight class difference. Nick only fought at or near MW twice. The first time against an old/shot Frank Shamrock (who should've fought at 170). The next time against and old/shot Anderson Silva who wasn't very aggressive but still able to win a point fight. A younger "matrix" Silva would finish Nick IMO.

Strickland has now gone 10 rounds vs DDP, 5 rounds vs. Izzy and 5 vs. Cannonier. None of them could finish him. I'm not sure if prime Nick Diaz could've done that. The only guy to finish Sean was Poatan, a former kickboxer who's also KO-ing everyone at LHW and is big enough to fight at HW.

Prime vs. prime I see Sean avoiding any danger on the ground. DDP has better TDs than Luke and an equally dangerous top game...and he couldn't hurt Strickland in the first fight the few times he took it to the ground. Luke's boxing was very bad (his weakest area) so I see Sean winning a close/boring decision. Luke probably lands a few nice kicks, but no one has put Strickland away besides Poatan. Strickland wins via a more output with his marching band Philly Shell striking, kind of like his fight vs. Costa. Luke is salty afterwards.

All I know is I never want to see rockhold fight strickland. Either the fight would be a sloppy mess by the beginning of round two because Rockhold lost all his endurance, or Strickland would just jab him for however many rounds it takes to a get a Zzzzzz decision. No thanks.

While a bit funny coming from him after the way his fight with Perry ended, who cares. We know what the self-promotion game is all about. Matt Brown hit it on the head with his post-fight take.

After all, we are talking about two former world champs who have endured some pretty brutal stuff in fights and kept going. The idea from some that Sean 'quit' is ludicrous (his output and efficiency did not drop off in the 5th) and Rockhold smearing blood all over Costa from top position was a comical horror show lol.

Let's not be *too* critical here...
