Clerks III (Happening)

Kevin Smith's newfound wokeness does not bode well for this entry.
Yeah. I see it becoming obnoxious and not edgy at all. I haven’t watched any of his films in years. Def appeals to early 20s me, but in don’t see this one appealing to me in any way given how it’ll be woke

I might watch.

Chasing Amy sequel where they end up getting together for another couple weeks would have been better for me. The 90s man, I miss 91-96 a lot sometimes.
The 90s for all its awful excesses still has originality. Crap these days is all crap.

It was the end of media entertainment originality.. At least for this time period.

I, for one, enjoy being perpetually stuck in a time loop.

The original cast returns and gets killed off by a group of white nationalists.

Hijinks ensue when Darla; the trans clerk and Miguel; the clerk that's one step ahead of evil ICE agents interact with slackers C'yara; the super intelligent aspiring female rapper and her CISgendered and a totally laughable white middle-class male named Todd.

True. It was the End of people pushing the envelope and seeing what can be done. Now it’s reruns of everything

Clerks 2 was funny when I saw it in the theater. Picked it up on Blu-Ray a couple of years later and it was unwatchable. Dante was beyond unlikable in that one. Will probably pass on this.

after seeing the last jay and silent bob movie, these guys are just too old to play these characters anymore. Kevin Smith was on the pulse of what was goin on when he made clerks and some of his other movies. I think it all should have ended at Clerks 2.

Hopefully this'll be an opportunity for Kevin to pull the nose up a little bit

In retrospect I think Clerks II was a movie for thirty-somethings who hadn't fully excepted time had passed them by. It was edgy young humor but it didn't appeal to most 18 year olds in 2005.

The only two Kevin Smith movies I can still watch. The second was just as good as the first. A little over produced compared to the original but every bit as funny.
