In one of the least likely callouts in recent memory, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran Clay Guida is taking aim at pay-per-view (PPV) king Nate Diaz. It comes as a bit of a surprise considering “Carpenter” and Diaz fought nine years ago at UFC 94, with Diaz winning a Fight of the Night throwdown via split decision.

Still, Guida is hot for a rematch and is doing everything in his power to grab Diaz’s attention. In a recent Instagram post (shown above), Guida verbally slayed Diaz, put him on blast for his love for marijuana, and insisted that he would do serious damage in a potential reboot.

“Yo, what’s up 209 bitch?” said Guida. “Yeah, I’m talking about you Nate Diaz. We scrapped it out about nine years ago, but maybe it was a fluke. So, what do you say we do it one more time for the fans? And when you sign on that dotted line, before you get into the cage, make sure you get real, real high this time. So when I spike you on your head and put you in a full nelson like last time, you won’t feel a thing. See you in Chicago, homie.”

Of course, Guida is referencing UFC 225 set to take place on June 7 live on PPV from inside United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

While UFC is unlikely to burn Diaz’s return card on a rematch with Guida, it’s nice to see “Carpenter” vocalizing his desire to welcome back one of the biggest names in mixed martial arts (MMA) today. Guida has captured back-to-back wins inside of the Octagon for the first time since 2011 and is currently on a roll at 155 pounds.

Everyone stopped caring about guida when he went like 0-5 and just swung his hair around like an idiot. He was fun before then and has had some fun fights recently but no one wants to see this shit.

Good luck Clay.

Uh, Guida won the first fight by decision

Guida moves like the black ups guy that can't stop moving from MadTv.

Weed pen > Meth pipe.

Clay Guida is awful. That said, he has just the right style to beat Nate Diaz, move around a lot to make it look like your doing something even though you accomplish nothing, then LNP every chance you get. The judges get confused by seeing his hair move around and his arms flailing, and they mistake that for actual offensive output.

If we never see Clay Guida dry humping Nate Diaz again for 15 minutes, it will be too soon.

No thanks...

because nate diaz will definitely pass on a conor trilogy bout to avenge his lost to fookin clay guida

Nate vs Clay 2 as Fightpass Main event ... yea, that seems right.

He looked like an elite boxer against Ortega for 14 min.
