Classless Robert Whittaker happy Darren Till needs surgery

Not as easy. You know when your going to be submitted usually before it begins happening and so does the ref most of the time so as soon as it's locked in you can tap. Sure, theoretically you can defend the kick but it's a lot more difficult to see that sort of thing coming and it happens a hell of a lot faster.
Fair point .... Shins to the face are hard to see coming ....you want to keep those ?

People calling for these kicks to be banned are almost as bad the people who made threads about changing the rules a couple weeks back simply because they were upset Usman won.

Rubbish agenda, and i thought Till Won.
Tell me how till won. Was it when he jumped back waving his hands as if he had the white flag everytime whittaker so much as breathed, or was it when he was doing jazz hands as he was coming in? Ill take whittaker battering tills front leg with side and round kicks and punching his face in dor most of the fight over two elbows that landed and then no action for the rest of the fight. My opinion tho

That's because of the thousands that have been thrown less than 1% have resulted in serious damage.

Maybe instead of trying to push it away with his right hand he should have lifted the leg off the canvas instead.

Sure, it probably would have led to him falling on the ground but his knee would be fine.
Right. Wonderboy adjusted to the many knee stomps Till threw.
Hell, Jones has a flying knee stomp that he throws. He is trying to do permanent damage. Have to learn how to defend them.

I’ve always wondered if you could stomp on a limb when an opponent is down. Take DC throwing Hendo around then somewhere in there stomping on the hand or leg

Pretty sure the reporter said after saying Till wants them banned.... "but I am pretty sure he was joking..." .....

Did you even watch the video?

The reporter literally says right after "He was joking".

Pretty sure Till is joking about wanting them banned.

He said he wants them banned JOKING, its pretty clearly in the audio?

It was a joke

Whoops, well the interview is still relevant to the thread.

Live by the limp maker, die by the limp maker.

Relevant but taken completely out of context..... lol

Whittaker was not "happy Till needs surgery".

Till was not serious when he said those kicks should be banned.

Both things were obvious in the video....

What's the difference between this and being happy you kicked someone in the head and KOed them?

It's a fight, people tend to be happy when they win

I can't believe that anyone who watched the whole press conference could come away with the impression that Rob was being a dick or harbours any ill feeling towards Till, he was very complimentary to him.

Till did the same against Wonderboy, a guy that had a lot of knee problems in the past.

What an embarrassing thing for Till to cry about after he did it continuously

He's an overrated point fighter anyways and the Wonderboy decision was an absolute robbery

I already have about 3 times on this forum, can't be bothered breaking it down again wasn't relevant to this thread really... I scored it
1- Till
2- Whittaker
3- Close Whittaker
4- Close Till
5- Close Till.

I never addressed the Whittaker joking. I opened the video last night and knew Rob wasn't being serious. Hell, he's always been a class act.

I didn't catch the reporter mentioning that Till was joking too though. I was concentrating on Rob at the time mostly.

It probably didn't help that I used some beverages to enhance my viewing of the main card.

I dont think stomps should be illegal, but Rob acted like a dick about it.

These kicks to the knees "strike" me as a case of guys being able to dish out the punishment but not being able to take it. As long they aint on the recieving end they are fine with them.
