I can see blades becoming HW champ.
I think he can have an easy win against gane, Curtis is probably the worst match up for Jon Jones in heavyweight, hit hard, nice TDD, amazing wrestling.
The hardest figths for him is the former champion, Miocic, and ngannou, the champ.
He already lost to Francis, but I don't know, I think he have a really good chance.

Gane took Ngannou down and has submission wins.
I agree Blaydes has underrated striking. Actually him and Gane have the best jabs in the division. His grappling however, is a bit overrated.

he didn't get "wrestlefucked" he got layed and prayed on for ONE round of a 5 round fight.
Ngannou did ZERO damage and ZERO submission attempts.
He lost 3 rounds, and only won one round decisively (round 1 is a toss up).

Blaydes got nearly slept by 50 year old Mark Hunt, got knocked dead by the very average Lewis and was so tired from grappling Volkov for 3 rounds he couldn't even catch his breath enough to conduct a post fight interview. He's nothing special at all. Decent singular skills but poor tactics and execution.

after gassing out. it would not be easy to take down a guy with his movement early in the fight.
I want to see him on the ground against someone else, and I also want to see a known grappler underneath Ngannou. Ngannou's strength is a cheat code, even in wrestling/grappling.

Gane fanboys are too much getting ez subs off of the Pessoa's and Mayes' of the world doesn't make you a great submission artist. His amazing sub game helped him lose vs Frank even.

Blaydes had 14/25 takedowns in that fight with 19:52 control time. Weird fight to try to shit on him about. Blaydes showed everybody that he can wrestle for 5 rounds and which is why some fans consider him the best wrestler in the division.

Blaydes did nothing on the ground in their first fight. He landed 2 TDs, did not get any significant control time, and landed exactly 0 strikes on the ground.
And Ngannou has evolved much more. I strongly believe Xtreme Couture Ngannou is a thing, and we haven't seen all of of it yet.
I have said for a while, before he fought the title, that his grappling was still green despite his flashy submissions. Gane has potential and a will to become well rounded. He is not bad, he just needs more mileage.
