Fake news

https://www.vox.com/2019/4/11/18305967/trump-lou-dobbs-approval-rating-bad-tweet

The poll in question — a Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service national survey of 1,000 registered “likely” voters conducted between March 31 and April 4 — actually pegs Trump’s job approval rating at 43 percent, with 52 percent disapproving. Forty percent of respondents said they have a favorable impression of Trump, compared to 55 percent who have an unfavorable one.

. . .

On Thursday, Fox Business Network issued an on-air correction acknowledging that Dobbs’ coverage of the poll “was not entirely accurate.” Trump’s tweet, however, remains up.

I see the joke flew way over your head...

Homer, for gods sake, haven’t you suffered enough embarrassment?

Stop following these conspiracy theorists ffs.

Do you find it to be a problem when the newly minted Attorney General, a Bush era hack hired for his opinions on executive power, states that there was spying, then when pressed backtracks to having suspicions, and refuses to cite a single piece of information regarding purported spying? He even walked back the terminology to "unwarranted surveillance".

Come on. Whatever the results actually are after his rainbow redactions, this guy is suspect as hell.

Unwarranted surveillance, is spying.

There is zero denying at this point trumps campaign was spied on.

There is also no believable spin of “we did it for Trumps own good” (see clapper on the view).

The only question is, did they follow the legal procedures. Barr and the IG will decide.

PS, if you think he’s going to drop evidence in that setting, you’re a brainlet.

Again, when there is legal surveillance on Russian assets, and they meet with people in Trump's circle in Trump properties, this is not unwarranted surveillance into Trump's campaign.

Barr's IG is undergoing an investigation. Surely Barr, if his musing is true, could have produced some rationale, no? Instead, he decided to muse about an investigation in his department, like the hack he's showing himself to be.

On Clapper: It's for the good of everyone, not letting Russia impact our elections. While Trump is grandstanding, nobody is speaking of him dismantling the only two task forces that were investigating the Russian issue.

The new narrative is they were investigating the Russians.

Why didn’t they inform members of the trump campaign? Including lawyers, intelligence officials, etc?

Also, you’re forgetting the fact that they (people with connections to us intelligence) attempted to place illegal materials in the hands of campaign members, who wisely declined the setup.

Feel free to continue being naive, you’ve been wrong every step of the way, why stop now...

It's not a narrative. Trump was notified that as president elect that members of his campaign had been caught up in Russian surveillance. The fact is that Trump was not spied upon as the purpose of investigations, and his people were only surveilled because they were meeting with Russian agents on trump properties.

You can keep talking about the dossier, the FISA courts all you want. This Nunes shit didn't pass even when he was leaking, and nothing will happen now.

Is a poster in here really trying to say that planting spies in a presidential campaign is surveilling Russians?

Oh wait, it does not surprise me

Hey dumbass, it’s not me talking about it, it’s the AG of the United States.

To your first point, then WTF was the point of the Meuller investigation?

I'll leave it to you, discerning why the Mueller investigation was started. Christ.

The original narrative was that it was started after the Downer concerns were relayed to us intelligence.

That fell apart when the timeline didn’t match up.

Also a reminder, no charges of conspiracy were raised against either page, or GP.

Sort of diminishes the claim of a warranted investigation.

Rosenstein: 'Bizarre' to say Barr misleading public on Mueller report

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein defended Attorney General William Barr's summary of the special counsel's report in an interview published Wednesday.

“He’s being as forthcoming as he can, and so this notion that he’s trying to mislead people, I think, is just completely bizarre,” Rosenstein told The Wall Street Journal.

Barr last month released a four-page synopsis of special counsel Robert Mueller's approximately 400-page report on his investigation into whether Russia interfered in the 2016 election and whether the country colluded with the Trump campaign.

Barr said investigators did not find that there was collusion and that Mueller's team did not make a decision on whether Trump obstructed justice, but that he and Rosenstein decline to pursue those charges. He has also said he planned to release a redacted version of the report by mid-April.

“It would be one thing if you put out a letter and said, ‘I’m not going to give you the report,’" Rosenstein told the Journal. “What he said is, ‘Look, it’s going to take a while to process the report. In the meantime, people really want to know what’s in it. I’m going to give you the top-line conclusions.’ That’s all he was trying to do.”

He added that the public should have “tremendous confidence” in Barr.

Will be interesting to finally see the report.

Anyone want to guess at redactions percentage? I'm gonna guess 70% of the thing is blacked out.

Also will be nice when and if we ever find out why Barr didn't consult with Mueller personally...or more to the point, why Mueller didn't care to consult with Barr.

Lying won't do you any favors.
Trumpers talking about lying is spectacular! Though randomly throwing out lies about lies is par. Yuge diphshitery! Your posting has gone to utter shit, I can't remember the last time you made a point.

Happy to trade insults with you though...
