Hard to admit because I loved watching Chuck fight, but really he was just a tough bro who banged. Striking has evolved now to the point where every ranked fighter would watch tape on him, pick and angle to step away from the overhand right and then take out Chuck's chin, even in Chuck's prime.

Watching Firas's video of how Rory picked apart Woodley demonstrated how far striking in this sport has come. It's almost on par with boxing now.

Chuck does not have fast hands or exceptional power, not enough to make a dent in today's game. Nowhere near the hand speed or boxing of Vitor. lol. fucking please.

Glover would take Chuck down and have his way with them. And have little threat from his standing. Rampage destroyed Chuck twice. Chuck had NOTHING for Rampage in his prime. And Glover has a slick ground game. Chuck would be subbed. He would be helpless.

I remember Chuck getting the best of Vitor in terms of boxing a decade ago although todays Vitor is obviously more well rounded standing.

Chuck would likely have problems today with a lot of the better strikers at LHW but I'd pick him vs Davis and Bader. Honestly though I think Chuck would have had problems if he'd fought in Pride during his peak years with besides Rampage, Shogun, Wanderlei, Lil Nog, Hendo, etc around.

I think he is rated just fine.. He was the most exciting fighter of his generation in the UFC.. But he is not someone who was ever going to walk through the best of his weight class had they all been together in their primes.

Yeah, but who did he beat? Rampage and Randy got him down. Beating Jeremy Horn, Babalu, and Vernon White is impressive and all, but I would put him as an underdog against anyone in the top 10.

Chuck doesn't actually have many physical gifts, and guys like him are being phased out of the sport. Glover would actually brutalize him for example. Maul him. Choke him unconscious.

You're an idiot. If you placed prime Chuck in today's game, it means he would train like today's fighters. Not to mention the guys he beat when he beat them were pretty damn good at the time. Chuck would be top five. Maybe not a title holder, but he'd be a monster.
