What about Edmen. I think it would be a cool fight.
About the same. Anderson is 1-6 with 1NC in his last eight. Weidman is 1-5 in his last six. Anderson was stopped three times, Weidman five times. Both are done, or should be, imo.
Weidman brutally stopped Anderson with strikes twice running.
Some of those KOs were so bad they need to count extra too. So like, KOed the equivalent of seven times in those five losses or something like that.

Anderson should have zero wins in his last 8. That Brunson fight was a robbery. It won robbery of the year in all of the MMA media outlets. The only reason that there wasn't more outrage is because people don't take Brunson seriously.
It’s kind of sad that Chris Weidman’s career is in a worse state than Anderson Silva’s

Weidman has a win in the past 8 years though.
Anderson has shown a pulse though. Took a round off of the current MW champ,(did better vs Israel than Whittaker did) hurt DC badly with a body kick and took no damage from his guard, etc. Chris has just been served up brain damage platters left and right.

Shot Weidman would probably lose at this point.even a shot Weidman KO's Anderson
Yeah, but Weidman has had his moments in all of his losses with the exception of the Reyes fight.
Weidman's striking looked the best that it had ever looked IMO agianst Jacare, but that KO was brutal.
Also an opponent that Silva previously battered while he had both working eyes and was robbed a classic finish by both Herb herbing and the GOAT gloatingAge 37 in his only ever USADA fight against a cherry picked opponent.
edit: age 36 actually

Your boy is too busy calling out LW Anthony Pettis..Chris needs to worry about Omari. Omari could give Weidman his 6th KO loss in 7 fights.
44 year Anderson has 1 KO loss (at age 38) in 45 fights. For comparison, 35 year Weidman has been KOd 5 times in 6 fights (only 19 fights).
Anderson is old old lol. His striking slash non huggy molesty style of fighting takes eventual wear that GSPs hug and smooch style doesnt. Hard to compareYeah, but all of this damage adds up. Anderson has no doubt been on the decline for at least 8 or so years, but he's sort of stabilized. He's still a very solid fighter. Weidman has been rapidily declining from fight to fight because gets brutally knocked the fuck out. The Rockhold beatdown, the Jacare and Reyes KO, the Yoel Cuban knee missle from hell, all brutal shit. Anderson has not taken much damage whatsoever, Israel buzzed him in the first round of their fight but Anderson quickly recovered, the Cannonier TKO was via leg kicks so that doesn't effect his brain, etc. Even in Weidmans win vs Kelvin, he nearly got KOed towards the end of the first round. He's way too hittable and his chin is fucked
