Media Chris Weidman apologizes to Anderson Silva

And still salty Silva fans will stay salty.

Anderson is the fucking GOAT, how can anyone dislike him is beyond me. Respectful, doesnt hold grudge against Weidman (I would have!).
He even fucks on the first date.

Love Andy and when he won and showed respect to his opponent , it was him just being genuine( sometimes it looked over the top but it was him being him) . Even though I always enjoyed watching Nick fight, I couldnt f-ing stand ( when he won) and he went out of his way to raise his opponents hand while patting the guy on the head. Oh - if someone did that to him, OMG - assault charges would be pressed.

I'm not superstitious but I've always believed in karma. What are the odds of this happening to anybody, especially to the guy who did it to another guy? Just doesn't make sense.

Otherwise, nice to see Chris reconciling with the GOAT.

MW shin break lineage: Silva > Weidman > Hall
MW knee injury TKO lineage: Cote > Silva > Cannonier

Karma is not a mystical force that alters probability in order to teach humility to people. It's a principle of inner guidance.

If you believe in karma, then you absolutely are superstitious.

If you believe in something you incorrectly think is karma, the same is probably true.

Karma is when baggage from a PREVIOUS LIFE OR PREVIOUS LIVES influences how your current life unfolds.

Autographing a knee check picture might be in bad taste in a sport where injuries isn't the goal of the sport, but it definitely isn't in bad taste in a sport where the point of winning is to injure your opponent. Otherwise lets stop being naive about the results of those TKO/KO wins. They do cause permanent damage that goes way beyond Silva's repaired leg.
I'm not really sure what you're getting at. I don't think anyone is being naive about TKO/KOs causing permanent brain damage. I was just repeating what Weidman himself said to Silva in the interview.

They are pals, they talk on the phone on numerous occasions.

Yeah, I watched the whole podcast, shit wipe.

And if you did the same you'd hear Weidman talking about how he used to sign autographs for his fanboys giving him photos of Silva's leg break to sign, and he even posed with them mocking Silva.

Bragged about how he did it before in training and how it's a deadly technique. After his little victory lap his scumbag cornerman was like his mouthpiece when he said the famous "Good, fuck him". Weidman never publically denounced that either.

He is only now confronting his own sins because his hands have been forced, but he never gave a single shit about Silva and what he did to him. Like I said if he did, this horrible injury wouldn't have happened to Weidman as well. Karma has come full circle.

totally agree the guy is a pos

As he should.

But again, 8 years too late buddeh.

Maybe if you did it in time your shin bone wouldn't have ended up stabbing your calf muscle.

Going on a limb here.
I don't think him not apologizing caused the leg breaking.

Anyone who thinks Weidman breaking his leg is karma has to be one sheltered naïve mofo. If that's karma then karma is negligently asleep at the wheel 99.9% of the time it should be besmirching actual evil people lol

Brains see patterns but not percentages.
Guy I know breaks his shin after the same thing happened to him: THERE MUST BE A REASON
99.9% no poethic justice happens: lol no info.

This is because our brain is still in large part similar to the one we had when we were surviving in the wild. We need to make quick decisions on the fly and spotting a pattern is much more important to (immediate) survival than discerning the truth. If you remember a particular even with meaningful consequences, like a flower being poisonous or a road being dangerous, you'll avoid similar circumstances - or seek them if the outcome is desirable.

Now the same process is just a pain in the ass, but well evolution doesn't work with a design, it's all just random shit throwing at the wall and seeing what sticks.

Maybe one day we'll think mathematically, will be interesting to see how or why.
