Why didn’t China Trump shoot them down?
Why are we now finding out about Trump letting 3 Chinese balloons fly freely over the USA.
All those Chinese running around Mar a Lago now makes sense.
We need to make it policy to shoot them down immediately. The Chinese got emboldened with Trump’s media black out of the 3 prior balloons.

Did they float across the entire US? Context matters and trump would have been wrong to not shoot it down. Try not to gargle the DNC balls too much.

Why are we now hearing about it? Why did they hide this information? Try not to give Trump a pass on this.

If a Chinese balloon enters our airspace it should be shot down immediately and any President who does not failed. Biden failed once and Trump 3 times.
Don’t worry the Trump part of the story will be ignored by conservative media.

if you look at the article, is it like they are desperate to make this even remotely comparable to anything trump to deflect.

I am sorry, but if they best they have is an unnamed source that a balloon flew over HAWAII, then it isn’t even remotely comparable lol. They can shut the duck up

The Associated Press also has a new report that quotes a defense expert who said that Chinese spy balloons have been detected near sensitive sites in Hawaii, home to a large U.S. military presence, during the past five years.

Thoughs on possible reasons as to why the US did not reveal the flyover of the balloon / airship when they first spotted it and why it was allowed to traverse the lower 48:

a) The US did not want the Chinese to know we were tracking it. This allows the US to see what it does and the Chinese response.
b) The US took mitigating measures to move/hide military assets that were in the balloon/airships's flight path, but didn want China to know.
c) Related to a: US was intercepting communication between ballon/airship and Chinese command.
 
If trump did indeed allow these balloons to cross US airspace he’s equally a weak pathetic fool. I mean, he is anyway but still.

the only thing that makes me feel like that’s fake news is that the intel committee would have known and I can imagine they would just have come out so strongly now but not then.

dude, he let a balloon near Hawaii. This highlights the hypocrisy of trump supporters, annd they are melting down over this!
 
What bugs me is that what if that thing DID have a weapon.. this US policy is to just let them all go through the country and then destroy it? What if it hits power grids? What if it drops bombs? What a terrible policy.

For those saying this is all on Biden, obviously it is not. Trump had the same problem, they just hid it and the public never noticed.

This seems like a pretty large loophole for enemies of the united states - and it just got publicized and exposed in a big way.

It could have been a distraction as well. Like when drug smugglers load up a cute girls luggage with blow knowing she will get caught and as the authorities are focused on busting her the real mule slides through.
