it raises a question as to whether an advanced military drone could intercept and guide it down to capture it intact. feels like a false dilemma between blow it up or leave it alone. it's a balloon, its not going to go supersonic and get away.

i think people just want to know what it was. blowing it up gives the admin plausible deniability to claim they dont know what it was, even though they can probably tell from the wreckage. if its brought down intact, that plausible deniability is eroded.

you can see it right now on CNN or any media outlet. They are now literally coming out with, “yea this is the most common ballooon ever, happened multiple times under trump, so who cares is a Chinese spy balloon has been slowly, low orbiting out country??!!?

if you question this, well maybe the fbi should raid you, especially if you don’t like abortions

@Lowmanproblems just curious if you denounce this at all and/or what you think should be done about this? Seems several outlets are saying this is pretty unprecedented, but at the same time trump had many balloon, which are now confirmed from previously TPS Classifier material?
