Media Chimaev gives some friendly advice to Jean Silva

"work harder" = walk the walk and don't lose brother

Silva's antics are all performative and cringy as hell. Nice to see Khamzat politely call his ass out.

Borz bless.
Silva Bless

Not that I disagree with the overall point, but Jean Silva fighting 3 times a year vs Khamzat's 1 time a year, doesn't mean JS is working hard.

Khamzat was referring to the work JS puts in during practice. Meaning practice harder, train harder, then you don't have to cry about dreaming of being a champ, you can be an actual champ like Khamzat. 💪

After Diego Lopes was able to take every punch from Silva, where many of those would have finished Lord's previous opponents, the FW striking sensation got lost and
reckless in wanting to crack Lopes. It all ended with him getting caught by a spinning elbow, and the durable Mexico representative finishing Silva instead.

The Brazilian was riding a 13-fight win streak when he got handed his first loss in MMA since 2018.

Upon his return to the octagon four months later, Jean was seen in an octagon where the UFC lightweight belt stood on display, ahead of Justin Gaethje's third try to
seize it - the American having tapped out to both Nurmagomedov and Oliveria as a title challenger. Now facing another fighter who focuses on grappling in Paddy Pimblett.

Jean Silva was clearly emotional by the sighting, breaking down into tears and crying out loud noises in front of cameras. A fighter who has reached the top and holds
a belt is middleweight's Khamzat Chimaev, and when seeing the footage he had to chime in with some well-meaning advice in the comments.

The UAE represantative emphasizing that building up this drama and spectacle around a belt won't be to his favor, but he can get there with his focus on the gym.

I love how in Chimeav's mind, working hard and crying are exclusive traits that can't go hand in hand lol

it's almost like 1 guy has to FIGHT FOR A LIVING and the other guy gets sponsored by a dictator.

i think you and Khamzat are getting PRACTICE mixed up with WORK. you get paid for work, you don't get paid for practice.

All the fighters are active when they arrive in the UFC. Fighting 2-3 times a year is nothing special for a new guy on the roster.

Jean Silva 100% already has CTE, just hoping he doesn’t fall off the deep end upon retirement.

Until then
