None of this can be enforced, don't worry. For every 1 person they catch/fine, 10,000 will be doing the same thing. You'd have to be unlucky. They'd need to have 10,000 cops working 24/7 on a continual, perpetual loop around neighbourhoods and houses and that simply isn't gonna happen

All these things are scare tactics and all are reliant upon coercion. They hope that if they can at least scare 50% of the population into complying with things like this, even if they can't be checked/policed, then it's at least 'something'.

The technology is there to enforce it though. Look at the thread about the Chinese spying on the Muslims. They can literally track and make note of what they are doing at all times. First come the laws then come the means to enforce them.
