I heard that Dagestan people hate Chechens, is it true?Where are the fans cheering for Mairbek Taisumov? lmao, they dislike him because he escaped his republic to Austria? poor guy.
Also, I don't care for what sort of warlord Kadyrov is, or what he does to gays/other people.. it is his choice.
You gotta be kidding me.
Khabib doesn't hold a candle to Malkin, Ovechkin and Sharapova who are global superstars with major titles and sponsors. Hell, I think even Mozgov is more well-known worldwide.
Holy shit, looks like the entire city of Grozny came out to watch Edilov's UFC debut. An unranked local fighter got more support than Dublin gave to Conor. Insane.
Also noteworthy is that he is a protege and relative of Kadyrov, and that will cause much controversy should he gain more exposure in the US.
Creepy as fuck
Oh and fuck kadyrov
You probably know a lot of things about terrorists...Sorry " moderate " rebels.Sherdog is so blindly pro-"Russian" they can't even tell when they are supporting terrorist fringe groups that are barely (if at all) acknowledged by Moscow.
Way to go, Sherdog. :::thumbs up:::
I don't think they hate them. They are ethnic tensions between most of the republics in the Caucasian region. The most known tension is between Inguish and Ossetians and probably between Slavic Russians against Caucasian Muslims too. I don't know too much about them though.I heard that Dagestan people hate Chechens, is it true?

He said that he is citizen of both Austria and Russia and he lives in Austria since he was a teen.I remember Taisumov having an Austrian flag.
Why was that?

Interesting, I didn't know this. I thought Ossetians disliked the Ingush people because they tried to claim their territory as many Ingush people lived in North Ossetia and tried to overrun the place. There's no hate between Chechnya and Dagestan, just regular rivalry/nationalism as in many places of the world. But nothing that involves violent conflict between the two sides or ill will.
The Ossetians (ethnic Iranians) have tensions with the Ingush-Chechens dating back to the Tsarist era up to the Stalinist era. Since they were Eastern Orthodox, the Tsar used them to subjugate the neighboring Muslim regions.
Then during the Stalin era, they accused all the Ingush-Chechens of being Nazi collaborators. So you had the forced mass-deportations, which ended up killing several hundred thousand Ingush and Chechens in the process.
So there's a lot of tension from Ossetia's neighbors towards them. But anytime a public figure happens to say something, the Ossetians accuse them of being inflammatory and creating ethnic strife (and make it a media spectacle, demands of apology, etc). Its weird because, that's like telling a Frenchmen or Polish why they're mad at Germans. The Ingush and Chechens clearly have reason to.

I don't really know though, my ex girlfriend from Vladikavkaz told me it.

From what I've seen it's the same at soccer - you can hardly see any females at soccer matches in Grozny during broadcasts. While in Dagestan you can see local girls cheering for non-Dagestani teams.
