I started doing the muscle snatches off of 6" blocks, as I don't have the flexibility to do em from the ground without bugging my SI joints. I'm fairly long armed so my hands have to be almost at the collars. Also not going to be bumping up time or anything on planks, I'm just focusing on maximum contraction/tightness.

Snatch felt a ton better pulling from the blocks. Went light on deads because my SI joint was still bugging me a bit.

Gonna swap to Jefferson deads for a while, see if my SI joint likes them any better. Also still swamped with work, hence the lack of lifting and the light day.

Pendlay Row

Swapped to Pendlay rows to get a bit more stretch/rom. I need to try to lift more often, but I've still been swamped with work.

I need to start incorporating more rows into my routine, so your post about Pendlay rows has served as a timely reminder. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Alright, back at it. Shooting for my first week of consistent lifting since April (blergh). Work has been stupendously busy the last few months, but I think we've finally hit our summer lul. I'm going back to running PTTP cycles with Jefferson Dead and Reverse Grip Floor Press. After a while (at least 6 weeks, probably longer) I'm gonna switch back to regular deads and side presses if my shoulder and si joint hold up okay.

SI joint started bugging me pretty bad earlier today, but lifting seemed to help if anything.

Rack Pull (off of 6" blocks)
10x3x225

OHP
8x3x115

PTTP isn't gonna work, I keep getting derailed with work. I'm gonna try to go heavy for 10 sets of 3 on a push and a deadlift variation once a week. Should be able to keep that up. Was shooting for 10 sets on the OHP but my form was getting iffy towards the end so I stopped at 8. Can go way heavier on the rack pulls.

No more words, just lifting.
