Charles Olivera was robbed

Was it his fight where there was a submission put in, the guy drops dead, then comes back?
 
I broke blood vessels in my face just watching Arman squeeze his head out of the guillotine.

For clarification, in case someone reads your post wrong, I'm feeling you mean  a second round, in that he didn't win 2.

After your post, I just made sure to double check that Michael Bell didn't score it rounds 1 and 2 to Chuck, cuz ya never know with judging. Thankfully, it was 1 and 3, which is still wrong, but not offensive to the point of being corrupt
 
Close fight and it's not a robbery

Wouldnt be mad if Charles won as its close. First round, charles. 2nd, Arman. Third... I would give it to Arman
 
IMO I'd rather see that fight be a draw if anything. I thought it was 19-19 after 2 rounds, and neither fighter really put a stamp on the 3rd round. Arman had a lot of control in the 3rd but not a lot of damage, and he spent the last 30 seconds fighting off a deep choke attempt.

But if I had my way at least 50% of fights would end in draws, and people don't like that. So in lieu of a draw, Arman probably deserves to win.
 
This fight should have been a 5 rounder. WE all lost watching that crotch sniffing.
 
if it was 5 rounds, i think oliveira would of taken it. but in the three that i watched, he didn't win any of the rounds as convincingly as armaan did in round 2. armaan was cruising him for most of round 3 too.

I like charles more than most here but you gotta admit people will change the narrative to fit their bias out of nowhere

It was crazy the number of casuals at the sports bar yelling "WHAT!?!" when Buffer announced the decision for Tsarukyan

It's scored rd by rd first of all. Secondly he attempted 4 submissions with 2 of them being super tight. Rd 1 clear Oliveira, rd 2 clear Arman but rd 3 is a tough one. I feel like nobody, fans or fighters know how fights are scored these days (myself included). All we really know is damage and significant possible fight ending moments are scored way higher then anything else and most people watching were surprised Arman didn't tap. That was by far the biggest moment in rd 3 which was a pretty uneventful rd where Arman had a couple minutes of top control. Not saying Oliveira was robbed or anything but it's hard to say who should have won the rd.
 
I demand a clear explanation of the scoring criteria!! I just watched Volkanovski's reaction and even he didn't know whether Arman should have gotten it by landing more strikes or if Oliveira should have by having the tight submission attempt that most were shocked Arman didn't tap to.
