I’ve never been that impressed by his bjj. I mean it’s certainly elite, but people make it sound like he’s untouchable. Actually, I think Poirier and Islam have a better chance to submit him than the opposite. I really don’t see him winning the bjj or wrestling game against these two.

This doesn't impress you?

The dude also has 14 submission wins in the UFC..

You should stop buying into other peoples statements of absolutes. Of course his BJJ isn't bullet proof. He's been subbed himself before. Dosen't take away from like @Hellowhosthat stated. You really can't argue that many submission wins in the top promotion. As far as finishing power with grappling goes. Nobody is more proven in the UFC cage than Charles is.

Oliviera's BJJ is definitely elite.

And, while most people don't see this, but his striking game is becoming truly elite also.

That said, Oliviera has a thin neck and fragile face. He is not a physically tough man.

I think he and Dustin are going to make an excellent fight; however, Islam Makhachev will wreck Oliviera on the ground. Too physically strong for Oliviera to handle, equally great on the ground, but far more dominant.

He has some weaknesses like going pure move for move and getting GnP'd or getting subbed himself, but offensively he's as good as it gets. I think Islam will be in trouble with him both on the feet and when on top. Islam isn't that good of a GnP guy, yet he's arguably the best wrestlegrappler in the div.

Yup. All the UFC champions since forever have been overrated.

Islam is a better wrestler so would most likely end up on top and win the grappling exchanges, but either guy who is on bottom would be in trouble

When fresh his BJJ is stellar, but he has a history of fading after the 2nd or 3rd round. I think Islam chokes him out in the championship rounds. I could also see Poirier getting a stoppage by GnP.

Nobody is untouchable. Jim Miller submitted him. But to say his bjj is overrated is ridiculous, the guy is super dangerous and has a catalogue of submission wins.

Makhachev will physically overpower Olivera, completely dominating him and the grappling.

Olivera will not get a sub on Makhachev; what will happen is Makhachev will likely get a sub (or ground and pound) Olivera.

Charles has 14 submission wins in the UFC (record in the organization). Poirier has 4 and Islam has 4.
He has some defensive flaws but offensively he is much better
