I’ve always been a single dad who works hard and gets laid when he can but has a hard time finding a meaningful relationship.

I just turned 33 last week.

I’ve been selling mortgages for the past 10 years or so. And made a good living for me and my kid. We have everything we need. My kid is 12 now and becoming much more independent.

I’m thinking now is the time to do whatever I want with my life.

I finished Undergrad and always wanted to go to Law School.

Also I wrote a novel that I want to try to get published. It’s finishing editing next week.

I have all the energy and motivation in the world, and I’m in great shape.

Anyone else change careers in their mid 30’s?

I work with another guy here on the FD that went back to law school and is already set to take the bar. He’s setting himself up to practice labor law with the unions. Kids gonna make bank when he passes. He’s mid 30’s and married with no kids.
