Rumored Cejudo contemplating retirement (again)

I've never seen someone with a more overinflated oppinion of themselves. He really thinks that people give a crap about him, but no one really does. I think most would be perfectly fine if they never saw him fight again and many casuals probably don't even know who he is. But, he conducts himself like he's some big superstar who can just call his shots and pick who he wants to fight. Except he couldn't be further from the truth.

Not giving a fuck about Cejudo makes us almost give a fuck :)

And it sounds like he never had any intention of fighting anyone other than Volk... at the time he was talking about Aljo, Yan, O'Malley, etc.

To be fair he wanted volk long before any of those call outs. Everyone knows he wanted to become the first tripple champ. He was just trolling the other guys .

He may get his chance when volk losses when he goes up, because he will.

The only story about this guy is his retirement.

It's a shame they didn't try to make the Holloway vs Cejudo fight happen. It's also a shame Cejudo never stuck around at 135lbs to fight some of the real top guys like Yan. Honestly Cejudo's whole career in many ways was a big waste, most people felt he lost to Mighty Mouse the 2nd time too.

Yan? He would've blanket him lol. Sterling took him down multiple times in both fights . Come on lol.

Cejudo couldn't blanket most Flyweights, I feel like people don't remember his fights with Benavidez, Mighty Mouse and Formiga. Hell Marlon Moraes shrugged off all Cejudo's takedown attempts and forced him to exchange. If you think Cejudo would just blanket Yan, you are out of your mind.

Ok. Then he would take him down consistently, and don't forget CCC got hands too. He could hurt him standing as well when Yan worried about take down like he was against sterling.

Sterling would get ko/tko by CCC. CCC never been taking down I'm the UFC. So ya.

It made sense the first time he did this. This time around he should be calling out top 5s to force Dana's hand.

Moraes beat the shit out of him and gassed out hard

I'd favor Yan to beat CCC, but it's a compelling fight. CCC took an asswhooping from Moraes but Marlon gassed out as he typically does when pressured. Cejudo would have his hands full with a lot of BWs. CCC vs Sterling would be really cool fight too, doubt Henry could control Sterling off his back but I respect Cejudo's striking a lot.

Anyways Rinya Nakamura is about to get signed to the UFC. He has U23 Gold Medal and Cadet Bronze, as part of the Japanese wrestling team and has wins over Sandeep Tomar (Asian Games Gold), multiple wins over Rei Higuchi (Olympic Silver and World's Gold), and techdd Yuki Takahashi (world's gold and silver).

So it's gonna be cool to see how Rinya at 27 in the Bantamweight Division will do with his wrestling.

You do remember morales was on a crazy win streak, ko the current champ and was physically big for that division right? CCC literally ruined him.

But ya ,I'm excited about rinya, will see how he does.

The fact is CCC has high IQ and is simply a winner. Has proven it since he was a kid.

You can call it trolling, or you can call it pretending to want to fight people you actually have zero intention of fighting.

I know Cejudo is your boy, I think he is an amazing fighter and had the potential to create an all time great legacy, but he has really fucked it up by trying to manage his career this way.

You can't say he pretends because he did a sport much harder than mma his whole life. He also fought mma and won 2 UFC titles and defended them. That too is also more than most mma fighters will ever achieve.

That's a pretty good career. 2 division champ, defended both and Olympic gold champion... More than anyone you can list right now lol.

His YouTube channel is also blowing up and he has fighters going to him for extra coaching and insights.

I give a crap. He was a beast and our Olympic champion !

I really don’t care anymore, just let me know if you’re going to fight Volk
