This. My interest in fighters sometimes extends beyond what they do in the cage or ring, but that interest is always predicated on what they do in the ring or the cage. A fighter who doesn't fight can give his opinion like everyone else, but it's just one more among millions.

How can you be an MMA fan and not want who was probably the greatest P4P fighter ever to not fight again, even tho he was only in the sport for a short time? Dude was still in his MMA infancy when he became champ. We may never see an Olympic gold medalist wrestler with a golden gloves background transition over to MMA.

He’s really good. But it might just be a blessing in disguise for him to just really retire. He’s all about legacy so these young hungry bantamweights and huge FW’s would not be good for him.
