The internet has brought us more media than ever before, and the ways we consume media might be different—but these concerns aren’t new, and they don’t outweigh the value of free press now and they never have.

Your solution as I understan it is to allegedly ignore all media and rely solely on your own subjective experience, and that’s a very problematic way to go about it. We should be defending the free press but constantly working to improve it.
