All this is correct. Troll was very theatrical too. He clearly put in an effort with his entrance.
But man, how stupid can you be?
Also, surprise surprise, after the idiot finds out he's been touching himself while texting with a dude, he gets back together with his baby mama. (probably didn't even tell her about the whole thing) Didn't see that coming.
He was never very clear about what he did/did not tell her. Whatever it is she knows now. It was better for him in the end if you ask me.
I think to a certain degree we are all susceptible to this kind of thing. I know I've certainly got friends that I've met online that I can't be 100% sure if they are who they say they are. To this point the ones that I've met haven't been lying. For instance. I've been talking to this girl since MySpace and I can genuinely say that she's a good friend to me. Up until recently she could have been completely bullshitting me. Recently she came to Florida w/ her fiance and her son and we all met up and I bought them breakfast. She was every bit the person she has portrayed herself to be online.
None of these people that I've had online relationships w/ save 1 when I was a teen have ever been romantic. I'm also relatively sure that I wasn't being trolled by any of them for the simple fact that there was nothing for them to gain my trolling me. I've met several people that I know from Sherdog that live locally. They were all just chill MMA fans. We got together, had drinks, and watched MMA. I had a blast w/ them. I've met several people from the internet in this context. As far as that goes I see no problem. As a matter of fact there's a guy on Sherdog that I'm going on a 5 day party cruise w/ in May. No homo. We're just going to get drunk, bang older chicks, and have a good time. I haven't been steered wrong by any of these friendships. It's when it crosses a certain line and become invested in these people that you run into problems.
