Carlos Condit's final fight

I really thought he won the title fight, its a shame that didn't top his career off.

I'd love to see him against Matt Brown but with Matts current downslide, I don't wanna do to that him. Wonderboy or Cowboy would be awesome.

Diaz rematch if he promises not to run like a bitch. Or Maia rematch.

I dont really care how the Diaz fight was hyped or what was expected. But most of us can agree, the true objective of fighting is to incapacitate or submit your opponent.

When you go into a fight with no intention whatsoever of even attempting to do that, and you win a title, it's hard to stay a fan. And its reeeeeeeeally hard to say Natural Born Killer.
Yet he threw knees, hard punches, and head kicks at Nick. Anderson couldn't even rock Nick.

Condit did far more than Nick did, and Nick even stated post fight (in his retirement rant) that he (Nick) didn't fish for an armbar at the end because he thought he was ahead on points. Sounds like Nick was pointfighting.

Diaz had less intent in that fight, throwing a handful of pitter patter shots as per usual.l and even admitting to not bothering to try submitting him in the 5th because he though he was up on the cards.

At least Condit threw head kicks and elbows, Diaz had nothing but gesticulation when he realised he had no mental or cardio edge.

And that's the reason he lost the fight, he gave up like he always does because it didn't go his way.

The Natural Born Runner.
C'mon man! He had one bad fight!

He's had a couple of rough outings, so I can understand a guy like him that's been in the game for a long time wanting to step away. I personally think he still has many great fights left, especially if he's paired with the right guys. The WW division takes a big hit if he decides to leave. If there's going to be a final fight for him, I'd love to see Diaz or Lawler.

"Yet he threw knees, hard punches, and head kicks at Nick"

-Didn't throw one shot that was capable of dropping Nick. Not one punch was thrown harder than the hook he hit Hardy with, as they were exchanging.

"Anderson couldn't even rock Nick."

-Nick got dropped by Daley, Gomi, and Zaromskis.

"Nick even stated post fight (in his retirement rant) that he (Nick) didn't fish for an armbar at the end because he thought he was ahead on points. Sounds like Nick was pointfighting."

Passing on a sub attempt to hold a dominant position is much different from trying to win by slap-fighting from a distance for 25 minutes.

"he gave up like he always does"

-lol

Same. I remember him winning rounds 1,3 &4. Though Rd 3 was close if I remember correctly. Been a while since I've seen the fight.

Why is everyone so concerned with him going out on a win? Feed him to Cowboy and be done with it.

Lawler rematch would be good Matt Brown fight as well.

I've always respected, and liked NBK. Only cheered against him once.

It would be cool if he got to call out anybody except the champ. Maybe he'd go for Robbie. Alot of folks thought he won that fight. I was one of them. But all that matters is the official scores. Right, or wrong... They end all arguments.
