Why? You knew during all the origin movies that death defying scenes weren’t going to equal death. Hell that applies with 99% of action movies unless it’s a side character or the end of the movie.
I don't know man, I felt the same with Solo. Knowing that Chewy and Solo were 100% going to live just takes the edge of some of the scenes. More and more in movies these days, the sidekick or love interest can die, but the train scene where Chewy and Han were close to getting killed left me numb. MAybe it's because the movie wasn't that good?
