I’ll giver her a chance because I didn’t like Gal as a casting choice for WW because I thought she was too frail. She did well. I do think Brie is bland and non athletic looking but I’m sure the power of movie making will over come that. To me the only really athletic looking female comic character in a movie has been Jaimie Alexander as Sif. She looked awesome. Another great casting job was Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn...she looked great.

That's unlikely. Even if the film is good, Dragon has a different approach since he's written a CAPTAIN MARVEL plot and so his review is going to be tempered by the comparison. The film would either need to coincide with his vision or exceed it.

When you're right, you're right. I love how she fills out the boob area of her tight shirt. She should crossover into an R Rated Deadpool movie for the purpose of showcasing her nude private parts.

Marvel's owned by Disney, aka Das Mouse Reich, so that wouldn't surprise me.

But making Captain Marvel, "the most powerful character the MCU has ever seen" is a cash grab. Marvel saw the kind of bank DC made from pushing the Feminism angle with Wonder Woman.

If Marvel can emulate DC's success and grab some cash is that not what movies and Hollywood is all about? That's better than seeing C level actresses in minor roles out of some principle to maintain FAP material for the guys wanting that to be preserved (and I.say that as someone who grew up loving being pandered to that way ).

What is most important is that they nail it like DC did with Gal by picking someone who owns it and nails it.
