As we both know, boxing isn't scored by counting punches. Power punches were as even as could be and we know thats what judges look for. There was controversy over all the early rounds (first 4) going to Canelo. Doug Fischer, the editor-in-chief of Ring Magazine, is calling for those judges to be investigated. It's not gonna happen but that's what he believes should happen. Same goes for the rest of The Ring's ratings panel that were there ringside covering the fight. Bivol did outland him in each of those rounds yet the judges gave Canelo all 4 of them. It's suspicious to say the least. Mike Coppinger had an issue with it as well. These are respected journalists and figureheads of the boxing industry that were actually there ringside scoring it themselves.
I'm trying to recall a fight where someone won but people still claim he got robbed. This seems like a new one.
