Canelos team forgot to pay ahead

You don't see Jake Paul buying decisions and then losing so badly they have to give it to the rightful winner anyway.

CF523EAE-8845-46BC-B302-76D4F56B3F01.jpeg Canelo simply didn’t have the cardio to sustain enough of an attack and doesn’t have the style to outpoint someone like Bivol. A rematch is pointless unless Canelo a) comes in better shape b) lays off the power punches and boxes more

I'm assuming he one of the Canelo hates that claims unfair scoring. then gives Canelo 2 or less rounds.

115-113 was possible but maybe a touch generous. and that's what you'd expect the house fighter to get. I'm assuming all 3 judges gave Canelo the 12th round in a fight he was down in.

scoring was fine.

edit all 3 judges gave Bivol the 12th so Bivol needed the 12th to win. and that was a closer round than some.

You're really reaching if you gave Canelo more than 1 or 2 rounds

I bet Canelo regrets cutting ties with Oscar.

Oscar would've had him fight Terence Crawford and Jake Paul and have him stay clear of Bivol.

Thats why he left Oscar, he wanted to fight the fights Oscar probably didnt want him to. Oh....and money of course.

Now Oscar can sit back and say "See, he still would have been on a win streak with me and I know more judges than he does."

Didn't Oscar get him the 350M deal with DAZN? I don't think anyone else could've gotten him that.

Ya he did, but there was some sort of fallout over how he was to receive money and picking fights.

Greed and Pride are real. Canelo was making more money than he could have imagined but he still wasnt happy.

Dont know how canelo lost. Probably the best display of blocked punches to the body I've seen yet in his career. The gameplan never hurt him before, in fact it probably wasnt even the best fight that displayed his skill of throwing heavy looking multi angled punches that are blocked.

Good for bivol though. I'm not sure he will be happy to take a rematch after edging out such a favorable decision. Dude doesnt even know you're supposed to hit arms and elbows.

Didn't he fight Floyd and Golovkin while being promoted by Oscar?

Blocked punches can fall under the umbrella of effective aggression if its more than your opponent is doing.

Weird, I thought the fights were always fixed for Canelo. I guess it took a really big boxing star like Bivol to sway it the other way.

You can’t be this dense. The fight wasn’t even close yet they almost hosed Bivol. Same thing happened against Floyd. Had either of those fights been moderately competitive, Canelo would have been given the win.

Yeah, and? Those were "necessary" fights. After the Golovkin fights, he was boxing's biggest cash cow. Oscar could've made 11 fights for Canelo that he would breezed through. I don't think Oscar would've made him fight top guys at 175, except for cases like Kovalev, where Canelo had a stylistic advantage (SK fades late).

Wrong, blocked punches are worth more than clean punches. Have you ever seen a canelo fight?

Really? Who then?
There isn't over the hill Oscar or Mosley anymore.
Over the hill post surgeries and rehab Bet's wreck simply had KTFOED him.
For a reason prime Kovalev version had wanted to see 0 part of Bet etc alike guys.

WTF did I just read?

What you had read.
Your idol Canelo didn't had lasted 3 rounds vs 33-34 y.o Usyk versions.
You, world and for sure english expert too, Dear God.
Cos very simple reason, crybaby and learn to read in your ...english baby.

I am being critical of Canelo here. He is not my idol. I don't understand a lot of what you are writing.

What did Bivol have that Saunders or Plant didn't? A better chin and better conditioning?

As much as I despise Saunders I think he had shown the ability before but what bivol had was the weight, confidence and the ability. He wasn’t intimidated in the slightest with the occasion. I’m still shocked they didn’t rob him
