Bivol executed his 'already known' style .... long jabs 1 2s etc. Canelo didnt adapt to this style very well and just some hooks and uppercuts didnt make the win.

Classic Boxing by Bivol...... wonderful. If canelo can move like Tyson it would have been something else in outcome. On the other side Bivol can infight for sure very well too.

I think Canelo has abandoned his defence the last few fights. He needs to slow the fight down and fight in short powerful spurts to steal rounds.

bivol landed at 21%, while throwing a lot more punches. canelo landed at 17%. bivol outlanded him in absolute numbers, and in percentages, in every category. total punches, jabs, power punches. more volume, more accuracy, better defense.

so it was bivol that made canelo miss a lot, not the other way around.

canelo took a dangerous fight against a dangerous opponent and came up short. there's no shame in it, he should be applauded for his effort and his massive balls. but he still got worked and trying to spin it any other way is hilarious.
