I'm riding with TBC all the way on this one. Canelo is not at his absolute peak anymore and I can't see Crawford sitting on the ropes or allowing Canelo to dictate the pace. In my mind, I see a 115-113 or 116-112 scorecard.

Canelo is at the stage of his career where he only does just enough to win. Since the guy he was fighting didn’t do anything, Canelo also didn’t need to do anything. He will be more active agajnst Crawford because Crawford is more active than Scull.

Watch that Jermell fight from 2 years ago. He moved so much crisper back then. Bigger too.. Threw Jermell against the ropes. I get what you're saying, and I agree that Scull shelled up from round 1, but I still see a different fighter. And also, he looks off cycle. The body language, the physique.. Everything. Same as Ryan.

Canelo down bad right now. I understand slowing down as you get older, but losing size and strength? That doesn't come with age.

I wouldn't read too much into this fight. I expect Canelo to look different against Crawford. Either way, if Crawford manages to pull it off then he's arguably the best fighter of this generation. Canelo has only ever lost to the very best. He'll remain the betting favorite though the odds will be narrower than before.
