Bivol has skill but he is a boring decision machine, who is barely bigger than Canelo, and we all know its basically impossible to win a decision vs Canelo. It will look like a competitive sparring session with Canelo given a gift decision even if he loses.

40 year old GGG who has never fought at 168 and is inactive, nothing else needs to be said. Both opponents are no real threat and the easiest options on the table. Canelo is just a clout chaser who ducks the tough fights. Pathetic.

What tough fights is Canelo ducking now? David Benavidez ? Tell him to fight a real opponent and he's aligned with PBC who only fight their own. Shouldnt be a problem for him to get Charlo or Plant at least.

Canelo taking a stab at 175 would be pretty cool. Dont think anyone has ever been undisputed at 2 weights although Crawford and Usyk have a shot at doing it too

I don't care about a third Golovkin fight, but Bivol is one of the best fights out there for Canelo.

Pretty much how I feel. Canelo seems to have improved while GGG is only older and not as active. Don't want to see GGG to be too shopworn and get beat up. Especially since I thought GGG won the first fight, so if Canelo beats him up in the third, people will see the draw and given the following two fights just assume Canelo was clearly the better fighter, which I don't think is true.

Bivol fight is great though.

But even with an L in May Canelo keeps his four belts at 168 and that GGG fight can still happen in fall for the undisputed SMW title.

right. bivol is still in his prime, is a natural 175er, can maintain a high pace, doesn't lose composure, and won't be bullied. he will stand his ground when he needs to and fight canelo, and we all know canelo loves a shootout.
