International Canadian Parliament Gave a Standing ovation To Someone Who Fought With Nazis

What a lot of people who are defending or excusing this do not seem to realize is that when Vladimir Rudolfovich or Margarita Simonovna spew their propaganda on russian TV, they can use incidents like this as factually legit talking points when accusing NATO of being a bunch of ideological national socialists. This is playing into the interests of the Russian Federation because it's much easier to create plausible propaganda from selectively picked truth instead of complete fabrication.

Holy shit, I wish I had a video clip of what I just saw on the local news. They had a guest political specialist on the show to discuss the situation and he said, and I quote, "well, the Nazis were allied with the Soviets at the time so he was actually one of the good guys despite being in the SS". I have no fucking words.
Trudeau came out even with the worst reply to what happened in the parliament "We Must fight agaisnt Russian disinformation"

Its bad enough that Trudeau had put tensions with India.

I, for one, hope he keeps doubling down on the stupid until enough Canadians wake the fuck up and vote every single MP out of office.

Instated of apologize , Trudeau goes even further to say that we must fight agaisnt the propaganda, Russian disinformation.
The way Trudeau responded. seems not so good after being caught clapping..

“I think it will be very important that we all fight back against Russian propaganda, Russian disinformation,” Trudeau.

Yep, I think he's been caught in yet another whirlwind of his own bullshit.

Literally celebrated a Nazi, under the guise that he's some Ukrainian hero who should be applauded for his service...but watch that "Russian disinformation", LOL.

Oh', Liberals...

It's just a clown show in our Parliament, opposition and government alike.

Justin seems like he was well-coached today for the statement he made to the press and it was a masterpiece of the genre. Made sure to throw the Rota under the bus, stressed that all Canadians should be embarrassed by his latest scandal (although mercifully he didn't refer to it as a learning experience for all of us) and finally told us that for Yom Kipper we shouldn't fall for Russian propaganda. This is just how it is now and it's not gonna get any better.

What's with all the Nazi defenders on the first page? Is this Storm front?
I didn't see anyone defending the Nazi ideology; they're just putting this in its proper context.

Not all foreign divisions of the Waffen SS were involved in the war crimes associated with Nazism; in fact, after the war, the allies used Waffen SS soldiers from divisions in the Baltic as guards during the Nuremberg Trials. They were not treated as enemies.

The same is true for members of the 14th Waffen SS in Ukraine. They did not face indictment at the Nuremberg Trials, because there was no evidence against them.

Moscow starved to death 1 out of every 8 people in Ukraine 1930-1933. Many more were sent to the gulags. Stalin wanted to eradicate Ukrainian nationalism. When the Germans advanced in 1941 many Ukrainians initially welcomed it. During and before WW1 Austria and Germany occupied Ukraine and it was benign compared to Soviet terror.

In 1941 this guy was like 15 and had constantly witnessed his friends and family starved to death, executed and kidnapped at the hands of the Soviets ever since he can remember. He would have been about 5-8 years old during the Holodomor, when Ukrainians were reduced to cannibalism - often of children around his age - in order to survive.

He joined a group of soldiers almost exclusively made up of Ukrainians who fought the Soviets. There's no evidence he committed war crimes. People acting like he's Ralph Fiennes from Schindler's List, but that's just not true.
