Social Canadian Nurses instructed to reject "White European Medicine" via new Code of Ethics

Is it really that simple? Wouldn't the hospitals be overflowing with millions and millions of people doing exactly that if that's the case?
Yes it is. Thats why California is in massive debt all of a sudden after claiming billions in surplus. see google response below

"While California experienced a massive budget surplus, particularly around $97.5 billion in 2022, the state has since faced significant budget challenges, including a projected deficit estimated at $44.9 billion for 2024-2025 and even higher in subsequent year"

Newsom now wants to "freeze" it

Search keywords "california 15 billion dollar surplus" to factcheck.

Where did it all go<30>

Identity politics should have NO place in the healthcare system, this enforces it. You cannot remain employed as a nurse if you are in violation of the code of ethics, therefore you cannot remain employed as a nurse without espousing these politics. This will not only result in the eventual firing of qualified nurses, but will deter others in the future from choosing this as a career.

Is this what you want out of your medical system ? Every level of government is infested with this kind of thing. But who is asking for it ?
You are upset over something, people are asking you to clarify and substantiate, you become obstinate

He's upset cause his idol died today and his life no longer has meaning. he's in turmoil, inner turmoil, the worst kind
Ozzy the person is not my idol, nor have I ever had one, but the guy helped create heavy metal. If it weren't for metal I would not have my career or many of my closest friendships. No turmoil of any kind.
Never heard of "Juno News". Google tells me it's a publication started by Keean Bexte.

Fucking lol. Yeah, I'll pass on that article.
What's so bad about Keean Bexte ? His dad is a member of parliament, does that make him an unreliable source somehow ?

If I'm upset about anything it's this failure of a medical system, it's fucking awesome waiting months for basic procedures just to get nowhere. It's fun waiting 15 hours in the emergency room bleeding to death while somalian crack heads get bumped ahead for seemingly no reason..

None of this related to the topic you're trying to insinuate in your op

Value 4. Use some critical thinking for once in your goddamn life.

All of the ones I posted. The job is to provide medical care. Not to enforce social justice rhetoric and adhere to a left wing ideology.

Please explain how truth and reconciliation, climate justice and identity politics should have any place in a health care system ?
You post a lot of nonsense but surely even you see the problem with your claims?

Value 4 is about the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples and asking nurses to respect that those cultures might have medical ethics and traditions that are unique to them and shouldn't be ignored.

I get that some people are just wildly and unintelligently offended by the idea of other cultures but this is an inane complaint, even for those people.

I'm guessing this is to be taken into consideration for first nations people who end up in the hospital, and well, if they want it, they can have it.

Go ahead, have the nurses call in a tribe to perform a rain dance for your cancer treatment, if that's what you think will help you.

Whats the issue? Sounds like canada can save on health care cost by foregoing expensive diagnostics and treatments in favour of an old indian banging a drum while chanting "hey ya yah ya yah hey ya yah ya" while another blows smoke from burning lawn clippings in the patients face

Value 4? It's some stuff on how to treat inuit patients. I honestly don't give a care if the practitioner had to consult the elders who then contact the spirits in order to make their decision.
If it's like that then it's the same ethics class stuff we have in America when dealing with rare minorities in the hospital. They always have some Hmong example with a sick kid and their shaman. You need to respect their culture etc etc. It's no big deal.

Such as?

Nurses are instructed to among other things,

to uphold the pursuit of truth and reconciliation, and to value the knowledge of first nations in their practice.

To respect the principles of social justice and consider the social determinants of health to influence the health and well being of people.

Advocate for the rights of all people to be free from oppression, exclusion, racism and discrimination

Advocate for the stewardship of natural resources and the environment as key determinant of health

Woke nonsense is going to destroy a medical system already on it's knees. We already see immigrants and minorities given preferential treatment in emergency lines, what happens when stuff like this becomes enshrined in law. What happens when your access and quality of health care is determined by identity politics ?

We already have a staffing crisis, stuff like this is only going to make that worse and who in their right mind would want to work in that environment ?

Here you can read the directives yourself

lol you can read them too. Instead of us giving the video any clicks why don't you point to the specific part you're pretending to care about?

Here's what I found,

Value 6: Providing Competent Professional Nursing Practice

Guiding Principle 6.1: Nurses continually develop and maintain their nursing knowledge and skills to provide competent care.

Guiding Principle 6.2: Nurses perform within their defined scope of practice and seek appropriate guidance when they lack the competence to provide aspects of care.

Guiding Principle 6.3: Nurses contribute to the ongoing development of the nursing profession.

Guiding Principle 6.4: Nurses contribute to the advancement and generation of knowledge of the nursing profession.

Here's a video from Sweden with English subs

In Sweden paperless immigrants gets dental treatments for ~$5 without questions asked at all. (No matter how expensive the procedure is in reality)

A guy here goes undercover to the dentist speaking fluent Swedish and says he's a paperless immigrant and they simply accept him and give him dental work for 50 SEK (~$5)

thats from 2019 and the rules have changed.
Today its only for emergency dental care, not regular dentist care.

Still fucking crazy that it was in place at all. As with many other things in Sweden.

Remember when they had "punishment discount"? How fucking ridiculous wasn't that?

* Person under 21 gets a lesser sentence.
* And if a person was sentenced for a bunch of different crimes they got the "volume discount".

Remember the case with the 20 year old who was guilty of 49 separates counts of aggravated child r**e?

He received both "youth discount" and the "volume discount" which meant he went from 18+ years in prison to 7.

I invite you to do a google search, it's pretty interesting stuff.

"Seal oil, whale oil, and the meat of various animals are used for warmth, strength, and to treat a variety of ailments. Seal fat, for example, is used for snow blindness and burns. Lemming skin is used to drain boils, and the bile from a seal's gall bladder is used for skin problems."
