International Canadian Liberals confusingly scrap carbon tax they created

That is not at all my line of thinking.

No, he should get security clearance because it is sketchy as fuck that he is refusing.

What a bizarre non sequitur
It's such a bizzare non sequitur that you have abandoned the line of argument of doing exactly what your predecessors did.

Would you offer him the security clearance without nondisclosure preconditions?

Obviously not, since it gives him access to classified information and he is not a trustworthy person

Frankly, I don't think he would be granted security clearance if he tried, which is the real reason for his refusal

Does he have more freedom to ask questions (his function as Leader of the Opposition) without the nondisclosure agreement?
Without the security clearance he doesn't even know the actual national security situation of the country he wants to lead

His "questions ' are all political grandstanding bullshit. It's all he has ever done his whole career.

He's a corrupt fraud, and you are gullible as fuck.

You didn't answer the question: Does he have more freedom to ask questions (his function as Leader of the Opposition) without the nondisclosure agreement?

Yes, he would have the freedom to publicly reveal classified information. Awesome idea.

*Rape his wife. Be accurate.

Except that he was seen meeting with them at a rally in 2024.

Lol. Ok.
Pierre meets thousands of people. I may be 1 of them tomorrow when I go see him in Sudbury. This is his 3rd time in Sudbury since he became leader. How dare he meet and greet people that attend his rally's! He should vet them all!!!!!

It wasn't a rally for him.

He literally met with them in their trailer and had a full-on private meeting.

But hey, whatever lets you think he has principles.

Also, I'm sorry to hear about living in Sudbury. My heart goes out to you.

He doesn't need to know the classified information until he is prime minister. He needs to be free to lead opposition to the government. It's literally his title: Leader of the Opposition.

Another consideration I have is: Would the nondisclosure agreement become void if Pollievre became prime minister?

This is important because I want to see prosecutions over the missing tens of billions from climate Barbie's infrastructure program; this ain't $16 orange juice. I wouldn't want Pollievre to sign anything that would hamper his future ability to submit evidence to the RCMP.

If you were to craft the nondisclosure agreement would it expire upon becoming prime minister?

The mental gymnastics required to believe this are kinda impressive

You are way above your pay grade dude. And you are embarrassing yourself.

Of course not. Because national security information should not be revealed to the public. The Prime Minister is not the ruler of Canada. They are just another civil servant.

Does King Charles or Governor General Simon dictate to Trudeau what he must keep secret?

No, CSIS does
I don't agree with your notion that CSIS should be able tell the prime minister what he is allowed to say. The prime minister can appoint the head of CSIS (through the federal cabinet which the prime minister also appoints) or even abolish it altogether with enough votes from Parliament.

You have answered this question: If you were to craft the nondisclosure agreement would it expire upon becoming prime minister?

negatively. I think that you are more concerned with protecting political allies from criminal prosecution than you are with good governance.

This is correct. Turning down classified information insured he could lead parliamentary sessions calling for inquiries. He could not; or rather be handcuffed in what he could say during parliament if he was formally privy to intelligence briefings on election interference. He decided to play the opposition angle and it was prudent at the time.

That's because you are a fool

Great idea. Who need national security anyway?

Why wouldn't he be granted it. List some reasons oh wise one.

Show me that evidence of a private meeting in trailer please.

Sudbury's mint. Where else can you make $200,000/year mining that isn't in the arctic. Just bought a $28,000 snowmobile. Life is geeeewwwwwd.
