Can You Bench Without Your Pec?

5 weeks into Sheiko and there's a recurring stabbing pain at my left pec attachment at the armpit whenever I bench. I've decided this is an impending tear and stopped benching. Think there's a work around for this? Maybe board press?

See a doc and physio.
I personally would play around with pressing options that don't aggravate it like Dumbells, etc. With the goal to just keep movement through it until it settles down.

I overestimated my maxes and got excited when the weight actually moved lol

Just missing the key ingredient... copious amounts of steroids unfortunately.

Hopefully it's just a volume adaption and you can get it too settle down nice and quick.
Sounds like it might be non muscular so some blood flow usually helps me, but I would definitely see a professional.
