I’m a fan of Anthony and this is all just sad
Smith almost got a title shot off some BS but dude has no heart. Dudes nickname is literally Lion Heart but is the opposite. In the Glover fight he clearly attempted to get his corner to stop it "he knocked my teeth out." Dude wanted out. Now he gets rocked and turtles into a ball. He should be PFL bound but the UFC likes him for some reason. I'm guessing he gets Cutalabba next to save his job.
God dam lol!You know he's going to get an announcer's gig? You wanna see/hear him every 2 weeks? Nah make him fight until his unintelligible.
I agree, but liking the comment mostly for your avatar! He is a veteran but watching him just hurts sometimes, no determination, no heart no nothing
All he seems to do nowadays is talking about how other guys are not as good while he is slowly becoming a bum himself
Ps. I have not seen his fight vs Rountree yrt
Dude looked like he was doing the MVP strut.
Most of the times their well-being is more important than keeping a job, this particular type of job, he already had almost 60 fights with a pretty average record with almost 20 loses, he does have a job with the UFC tho, he could focus more into that and building himself into an analyst gig, setup a gym, its not like he wont be able to make a living, but he took a beating and has been losing more than winning since the Jones fight, which he lost, this is not a he has no heart post, he does but the rest of him cant keep up, either he didnt prepare well or was outclassed badly. What the fuck is with losers on Sherdog wanting people to lose their jobs?
That does not surprise meI agree, but liking the comment mostly for your avatar!![]()
LHW is shallow as fuck so no and Anthony isn't a bad fighter. He can still beat some guys, just not the top.
Who said anything about fighting forever? He's free to live his life how he chooses. Retiring or not is his choice but I don't think he should be cut. Do you think the UFC should be the brain damage police? As if this is the only consideration.
A man who has been TKO/TKOd 11 times in 19 losses in 56 professional fights should just keep fighting forever, because the human body is designed to sustain that level of extraordinary abuse indefinitely.
Particularly a man who is on television and has other media income streams, where such continued abuse could not just impact his health but compromise his ability to do these jobs.
