Nelson's last nine wins have come by knockout or TKO.

I don't see Kongo having much luck standing or on the ground (especially not the ground), but the only fighter to stop Kongo with strikes has been Mark Hunt.

Nelson by decision? Or maybe sub?

Kongo's chin appears to be gone. He's been hurt in all of his recent fights. I see Nelson getting the KO/TKO pretty easily.

True, he did get rocked by Barry. Barry's a hard hitter, but so is Nelson.

Did Jordan hurt him? I blocked that fight out of my memory.

after seeing nate diaz go down, i got a funny feeling that those who rarely get ko'ed, are going to..

Kongo has a good chin but he gets tagged very easily and Nelson has the power to put him away. KO rnd 1

OK, a reasonable consensus seems to be that it'll happen. I guess we'll see what the world's most powerful kung fu fighter has for us this Saturday!

The bad news for Kongo is that he is in a similar situation he was in with Mir. He really can't afford to let it go to the ground, so he's going to have to keep his hands low to help with his TDD.

The worse news for Kongo is that Nelson has a better chin, better striking, and more KO power than Mir.

I think Nelson wins this pretty easily.

Kongo has some poor defense. Nelson has a ton of power. Decent chance of a KO.

I could KO Kongo if he stood still, chin up, and let me swing on him a few times.

And I'm not a HW.

Anybody can knock anybody out at any time.
