Obviously he can. But it's funny and not surprising here that everyone thinks it's a sure thing. You guys are talking like Kongo is facing Cormeir or cain or something and he doesn't even stand a chance.

Kongo is coming to the end but he's still not Meathead or Dave Herman coming in on a weeks notice. Or Schaub and Struve when they were young noob fighters and nowhere near top-25 fighters.

The bad news for Kongo is that he is in a similar situation he was in with Mir. He really can't afford to let it go to the ground, so he's going to have to keep his hands low to help with his TDD.

The worse news for Kongo is that Nelson has a better chin, better striking, and more KO power than Mir.

I think Nelson wins this pretty easily.

lol at better striker than Mir, Mir has more technique uses angles better and is just better in more areas of striking.
