Lol people act like an aggressive Kongo can't Ko Roy. Kongo has insane straight punch power. Also Nelson's boxing has looked really good since working with Mayweather, that combo he landed on Mitrione was awesome, i thought meathead was going to beat him up standing, and he would have it was the old Nelson.

Keep in mind, Kongo's chin is good, and people can wear Nelsons right hand, JDS has, Mir has etc.

Yes*. And my point was, Nelson isn't. He's not a bad grappler by any means, just not great. The top wrestlers and BJJ guys can take him, and the Rothwells, Arlovskis, Cro Cops and other non-top grapplers can at least deal with him.
If Kongo could survive hurricane Velasquez for three rounds, he can survive Nelson on the ground. Or possibly even get the better of him, assuming he gets a favourable position.








*Mir is, at least. Not so sure about Monson, especially not at HW.

Really you brout up the AA fight? The fight where roy had side control working for a sub and the ref decided to stand them up?

I think roy connects and drops kongo and either jumps on it and gets tko or grabs kongos neck and gets his first sub victory in a while.

It was always remarkable how after the KO, Kongo just walks around with his arm raised like he wasn't just on queer street for half a minute.

There is a good chance that Nelson KOs Kongo, but Cheikh can definitely get the UD by holding him against the fence and maybe a TD or two. I highly doubt he fears Nelson's bottom game.
