From what I've seen of his fights. His striking is no where the same planet as Conor's so he going to be in a lot of tough fights/wars. His jiu jitsu and grappling is much better than Conor's tho so that's good. But that advantage isn't really as great compared to Conors striking was against top competition.

To answer your question he most likely won't go on a dominant run like Conor did to a title win. He will be in a lot of wars early and I see him losing a couple early. He will be a good draw but won't come close to Conor. His striking is not that great

Not a Conor fan at all. But he was a much more polished product when he arrived. It was only against the very best that the holes in his game became apparent.

Paddy has a lot of areas to work to on in order to have that kind of a rise. He’d be found out very quickly if he moved into title contention at the same speed as Conor.

I'm not so sure, he is pretty young. If he can work on his striking he'll be ready for the top ten. Look at Rose Namajunas, she went from being a grappler to one of the best strikers in women's MMA. Paddy can definitely improve if they bring him on slowly.
