I always took it as G-Force was the group of good guys, and Battle of the Planets was the Universe. G-Force was kind of like a spin-off.

Or at least that's how I took it. Fuck knows, that's 40 years ago, lmao.

Battle of the Planets was the 1978 series and G-Force was the 1986 remake. Both were syndicated adaptations of the 1972 Japanese TV series Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, or just Gatchaman. But yeah, those cartoons were dope.

The Mighty Hercules was awesome. They released a DVD remastered of the first third of the set of 108 or so in total they did. Pissed they didn't release the rest.

Star Wars cartoons are my favorite. Clone Wars is at the top of the list. It's long, starts off weak, and has lots of filler, but the highs are some of the biggest highs of any Star Wars content with the exception of Andor, R1, and the OT. The last 4 episode arc couldn't possibly be more perfect. The Tales series and Bad Batch are also great. I don't like Rebels as much, but it's still worth a watch. Looking forward to the new Maul show.


I also love Family Guy, The Boondocks, Simpsons, KOTH, and Courage The Cowardly Dog. Don't care what anyone says, that purple dawg is the GOAT cartoon dawg.

Robotech Macross Saga. Even as a kid, the love triangle made the story a bit more appealing alongside the veritechs.

GI Joe. Many different characters with their own specialties, vehicles.

DBZ. Many likeable cool characters. I wish I had a Bulma who had my back with her super smarts and super family wealth.
